This remarkable vacation rental, which has been featured in several episodes of "Better Call Saul," is in a safe & quiet neighborhood complete with sidewalks, trees, & green grass - a rarity in Albuquerque. The location offers quick access to a park and playground, highway 40 and grocery stores. The airport and balloon fiesta are also only a 20-minute drive away.

This rental property consists of two separate homes connected by a garage: a front home of 3,700 sq. ft. where the owner resides and a back home of 3,200 sq. ft. with magnificent mountain views. Guests enjoy complete privacy during their stay. The back home was initially built by the owner's parents as a retirement home, with custom luxury finishes and thoughtful features for aging, like an elevator, wide hallways/doorways, walk-in shower, lift chair, & stepless entry.

The backyard has an adjustable basketball goal, hammock, 2 water features, sunken trampoline w/ netting & double jump surface for safety, gas firepit, & gates leading to open space with hiking and biking trails. The covered balcony off the master bdrm & kitchen has a 4 person hotub, Weber grill & great views of wildlife, mountains & hikers/bikers going by!

Guests can enter the back home using a smart lock with their individualized code and can take the elevator or stairs to the main living areas. Upstairs, there are two cozy king bedrooms, each with a connected bathroom, heated floors, and mountain views. The living room, kitchen, and dining areas are spacious and open, with an abundance of natural light and impressive views. The fully-equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and heated floors. The living room features two leather couches, a gas fireplace, and a Samsung smart TV with Xfinity cable.

The lower level includes a game room with a pool table, grand piano, drum set, guitar, smart TV with Xfinity cable, PS2 gaming system, DVD player, and a sliding glass door that leads out to the basketball court. Down the hall from the game room is a third bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has a king size bed, large leather reading chair, pull-out sofa bed with a gel mattress, designated work space for homework or remote work, coffee pot, microwave, mini fridge, and a sliding glass door with phantom screens for enjoying the sounds of the water feature just outside your bedroom door. The adjacent bathroom includes a shower with a rock surface to massage your feet, a removable showerhead, & granite countertops.

Spacious home with great access to trails
We had a fantastic spring break. The home offers plenty of space and lots of amenities. The pool table and TVs gave us things to do while chilling at the house and a gate in the backyard offers direct access to miles of beautiful trails for hiking or biking. We felt comfortable with our teens exploring on their own or going on family rides and hikes. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great house with piano and access to trails
We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property. It was awesome to walk out the back gate and onto trails heading up into the foothills. We loved having a piano to play. Each of the three bedrooms is large and comfortable, with views. The common areas gave us plenty of space to spread out and work remotely. We also loved playing pool! Our family had a great time here, and we strongly recommend this property!

Great stay at base of Sandia mountains
We had a great time in a very comfortable home with my family (2 adults and 2 kids). The hiking is literally accessible from the backyard and we hiked a 6.5 mile up and back with great south and east views. The home also had nice views of the mountains from the second floor main living area as well as a pool table and outdoor basketball hoop which kept the kids entertained. The host was very responsive and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

Property itself and the location (cul-de-sac) both cool. There was lots of room on both floors of the property which has nice hiking trails directly behind it. Relatively quiet minus the property adjoins in certain areas with the front property which is occupied. My fault totally on that for not reading all the reviews. We’re private quiet peeps so yea I’ll leave that there … again the property location is thumbs up and offers nice quirky cool surprises on the interior.

This beautiful house is located at the foothills open space & is convenient for hiking, running or cycling. Trails are just outside of backyard. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking meals, beds are comfortable and neighborhood is quiet.

This is an immaculate, outstanding property. The view from the balcony is nothing but mountains. The hiking paths on the mountain (accessible from a gate in the back yard) are as easy or challenging as you like. The home itself is very spacious and well kept.

Peaceful Location
This was a very comfortable home in a peaceful location. Perfect for a relaxing getaway with space for the kids to play outside. Very convenient access to walking trails on the mountains. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable and the outside living areas were cozy, especially the fire pit area in the evening. The home is beautiful and luxurious, but not to the point of making you tiptoe around. It was a very lovely stay!

Best rental ever!
We have stayed at many VRBO properties in the past and this home is far and away the best we have experienced. The location is fantastic—nice neighborhood at the base of the mountains. The yard was wonderful for our kids—trampoline, hot tub, and basketball all in top shape. The back yard is connected directly to a hiking/biking trail system. The house is beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. Cozy fireplace. Beautiful views. Plenty of space. Heated floors! Attention to detail was more than we have ever seen. Every need was anticipated and met. Coffees and teas. Toiletries for daily use and for those things you might forget. Instructions and local attractions. We came to NM just to do some hiking. Now we are looking for time to come back just to enjoy this home. Well done!

Resort Quality and Amazing Views
We have stayed at many different properties across the country using VRBO and this location is by far the best we've experienced. The ease of checkin, quick response and detailed information provided by the host, the superb cleanliness, amenities provided, well stocked kitchen easy to cook in, comfort of all beds, furniture and chairs, luxury bathrooms and porches and the VIEWS!!! Our kids LOVED the trampoline and plush grass. Hiking the trails behind the house and then picking grapes from the grapevines in the yard for a snack was a favorite! We will absolutely stay again if ever we have the chance to visit Albuquerque. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home!

Very well kept property makes it easy to relax. Large spaces to eat, hang out, and relax. This made it easy for us to wear ourselves out on the trails then recover. Every space was big, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining, yard and balcony. It made it easy to relax with extended family.
