Welcome to the Muskoka’s!! Please note - we offer Friday check in’s only with a 2 night minimum stay. Our summer schedule is Friday to Friday with a 7 night minimum stay!

Winter - Getaway Bay Cottage is a fully winterized donation. With added heat pumps, heated water lines, electric fireplace and the unforgettable wood-fired hot tub, this is an ideal paradise for lovers of snowmobiles, ice fishing or just a relaxing winter escape, however, we want to point out that it is not always accessible by road in the winter months. We recommend that all guests park at Mountain Trout House Marina if there has been substantial snowing (instructions provided upon booking ) and hike the trail into the cottage. It is only approximately a 5 min walk in and it is partially uphill. We recommend bringing sleds or toboggans to get your supplies in.

Summer - Getaway Bay Cottage is fully accessible in the spring, summer & fall months with many areas to park. Enjoy many activities such as exploring the area, swimming, kayaking, boating, hiking and soaking in the wood-fired hot tub.

Our cottage boasts 4 cozy bedrooms, one full washroom, a downstairs games room, living room, dining room and kitchen, covered porch and back deck with a bbq. There are two bonfire areas and of course once you travel down the stone steps you have a large lake dock with your very own wood-burning hot tub.

Other things to note
This experience may not be suitable for individuals with mobility barriers. There is a long stretch of stone stairs to access the lake front dock and hot tub.

We are exclusive to Friday check in’s based on our cleaners schedule. 2 night minimum stay. During the summer we have a 7 night minimum stay with a Friday-Friday booking schedule.
