Dicht bij Schiphol maar verder..
Kamer op begane grond was erg klein en donker, slechts een nachtkast, goede vloer en verwarming. Badkamerdeur/pomp erop piepte heel erg. Badkamer was nieuw met inloopd. Lamp kapot en het stonk daar ondanks recente renovatie. Plinten langs de bed met dikke laag stof en vloer, hoek achter nachtkasje en bed heel erg smeerig. Bedlaken was krap en los voor het kingsize bed en kroop omhoog zodat ik wakker werd op de blote matras brrr. Bar kon geen rode wijn verkopen ( niet meer geleverd) en aangrenzend restaurant (Bastion) was sjoemelig met een menu voor de hardwerkende arbeiders die daar ook aanwezig waren. Vleesporties van 4-600g. We eindigden bij McDonald. Schuttelbus was de motivatie voor onze keuze.

It’s good that the hotel is in close proximity to the airport and it offers a shuttle ride from the airport. The property is also near a major highway, making it easy to get to the airport. My flight left too early for the shuttle ride back. The room is clean and comfortable, although the towel shelf in the bathroom was up very high: at least 6 feet off the floor, I could barely reach it, the same with the shower head. I like that it’s walking distance to a major shopping center and restaurants. The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful, especially in arranging for a taxi to take me to the airport in the morning.

Free shuttle bus service (to and from the airport) was very convenient. They pick you up every 30min with a big bus, so no worry about waiting too long. Bare minimum Room was just ok. Whole building has not been renovated for a while, but has everything you need

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Best Western Plus Airport Hotel in Amsterdam We recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Airport Hotel in Amsterdam for five days, and it was a highly disappointing experience. Firstly, our room had several broken items, including the safe and the smoke detector, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. The shuttle bus service to the airport was another major issue. The hotel only has two shuttle buses, each with only nine seats, running every half hour. This means that the demand far exceeds the available seating, causing us to wait an extra half hour every time. It's incredibly frustrating and a waste of time. This morning, we faced an even more distressing situation. We were the first in the queue for the third shuttle bus of the morning, with two other Asian guests behind us, followed by a group of white guests with luggage. When the nine-seater bus arrived, the white guests immediately rushed to load their luggage into the rear compartment. The bus driver, showing clear bias, helped them and was reluctant to let us board. After we finally got on the bus, the driver loudly ordered the two Asian boys to get off, which was completely unjustified. They had been waiting just as long as we had. A receptionist then came out and rudely insisted the boys disembark because the white guests needed to catch their flight. This blatant favoritism and discrimination left a very bitter taste!
