Great place, don't take the basement room though!
This is tough to write as the hotel was ideally situated, with really friendly staff, and great decor, but we got little sleep, which is kinda the point. We were given a basement room, which we were informed about on booking. No natural light, not a problem. The issue with the basement room we had, is that it is directly under the entrance to the hotel, so not only can you hear the door opening and closing at all hours, but people gather at the front outside to talk and smoke. We got arrived at 12am. Noise till about 2am. Finally got off to sleep, then about 7:30/8am the service door, again right next to our room was opening/closing opening/closing with staff talking noisely. So no chance of a lie-in. We were shattered and it sorta spoilt our still if I'm honest.

A room with a view!
Perfect location! A lot to do and a beautiful view of a canal. A very comfortable bed and very quiet at night. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sebastian’s. You are a 10-15 minute walk away from the train station, which was very convenient. The hotel is a block or two away from all major shopping streets, yet not in the middle of it all, so it is quiet. The hotel and staff were warm and inviting. Everything was well maintained and clean. We’ve already recommended this hotel to friends who are planning a trip to Amsterdam next year. Highly recommend!

The hotel was well located, a few blocks away from Anne Frank house and Central Station. It is a small hotel, cozy and clean, staff is friendly and helpful. The room was large and accommodated us well-we were 3 women. My only concern was the front desk is unattended from 11PM to 7AM and if you want breakfast , you have to make reservations the day before.

Don’t book the basement room it is extremely small. I paid $200 for a night and regretted it. Even if it would be $300 I should have booked the non basement option. The basement room was so loud, it felt like sleeping outside
