First room we found bed bugs dead under the sheets. We had to get a new room and still had bites in the mornings when we woke up. AC did not work at all and the rooms were very tiny. Staff was very pleasant to work with.

Definitely not coming back to this property. At first the gentleman at the front desk was rude and spent more time flirting with a female coworker then trying to help us out and others as I watched. At night when I pulled the covers down to get into bed there was nothing on the mattress, only the 2” mattress pad had a sheet on it and the mattress was bare, absolutely disgusting. Bathroom by far was the smallest I’ve ever seen and I book 100-150 nights per year. My previous stay was at the holiday inn express by the Sloterdijk train station and I would go back there 100%, it’s only 1 train stop away from city centre. I would not even think to come back to this Ibis property. Only thing good here is location, that’s it.

Next to the station so really convenient. Staff were lovely and so helpful. Easy walking everywhere from this location. Rooms were basic but clean . Reception cafe and shop really useful. Will look after luggage, they have a room or lockers.

Average stay in over-priced "budget" hotel
Way overpriced hotel - paid 460 USD for one night for a small triple room. The condition of the place is OK, but nothing special and lacking many normal conveniences and the room was very small. It is listed as dog friendly, but they initially gave me trouble checking in with my dog, which was weird. Eventually all was OK - nothing especially offensive, but nothing to speak highly of either. The rate should be 150 USD cheaper per night to represent a value of any kind.

So easy to get to from train station and easy walk to everything Amsterdam has to offer. Rooms are small and have connecting doors (if you wanted to have two rooms connected). Downside is they are not the most sound proof. Room was very clean!

I have stayed in Amstertdam many times but never so close to Centraal Station. I am gald I stayed at IBIS my last trip due to mobility issues. The trains platforms were literally up a staircase right outside the hotel. The room was spacious,modern & housekeeping was on point. My room was directly over the many tracks that lead into the station but as I am a train lover this was fine with me. I was also upgraded to a superior room just because I was there earlier than the 3:00 check in and had to wait an hour or so. Not the hotels problem, but they rewarded my patience regardless!!
