Great location, very small room
The hotel was right by the station. I thought it was a fabulous location. However you really couldn't swing a cat in our room (no pets were harmed in this review). We had a triple room and there just was not really any floor space. 1 bed had no bedside table. All the beds had toppers on them which kept sliding off. We like a kettle in our room and we asked for one but there wasn't anywhere to put it, so had to make a cup of tea on the floor. We paid a lot for the room. Nearly £300 a night and were shocked to not have breakfast included. So we paid extra. Breakfast was pretty good. Nice coffee. Staff all very friendly.

A nice hotel in a great location. We didn't try the breakfast or dinner as both of us got ill unfortunately, the breakfast looked good. The twin room was small, very small for 2 people but was adequate. The shower was just about hot enough considering the water pressure fluctuated from very hot to cool. The staff we met were very nice too. We will book the hotel again next time we go to Amsterdam as we still enjoyed our stay despite being ill.

Walking distance from the train station, adjacent to Amsterdam’s main square. Nice bar with good pizza. Walking distance to multiple restaurants and shopping. Small self serve store offering soda, water, beer, wine and snacks. Lovely staff! Highly recommend!

The room was decent. The bathroom, however, appeared to have mildew. To make matters worse, the water stopped running in the middle of my shower one morning. Fortunately, the water trickled enough to rinse out the shampoo from my hair.

It is a pricey room for what they offer. Towels did Not have much cotton and cheapest you cud buy! Except for the location, nothing is good. Rooms are real small, the lobby is like a circus, the staff not there to check you in. If you are in a hurry and need a space for a night, it is ok. But I wud not stay here if I am in Amsterdam for Several days.

Uber cannot drop off or pick up at hotel. You have to drag your suitcase at least half a mile down the road and under a bridge to be able to use uber. A taxi can pick up at hotel but taxi is much more expensive than uber. There is no complementary water in room. Staff gave us different answers each time we asked questions. To store luggage in hotel luggage hold it costs money if you want any kind of security for your suitcases.

So convenient for walking around the centre of Amsterdam. Trams, metro and trains close by. Good food and drink available at the hotel For me the sound of the trains was good. Situated right over the train lines! Some might find it a nuisance. If so try the Ibis Styles round the corner.

Tv screen sharing didn't work and staff had no idea how to fix it. The room was tiny, not super clean, and was tatty and very very basic. Not worth a fifth of the cost for the night.

Ibis Amsterdam Central Station is literally next door to the trains! Cross the street and it takes you into the neighborhood with tons of shopping. It really does have a great location. The rooms however are quite small. There is barely room to get around the bed(s). There is no coffee maker or tea pot or any amenities like that to be found either. Although the coffee in the lobby was excellent, you have to pay for every cup. There is no coffee or morning beverage offered for free. So as much as we loved the location and staff, it’s a no frills, bare bones operation. (No warm and fuzzies). By the way, the bathroom and shower are VERY tight. Just giving a heads up…otherwise enjoy your stay!
