This hotel was a great location because it was easy to walk to many key attractions. The staff were helpful, attentive and friendly. Despite its central location it felt safe and secure.

Great location, very comfortable
Great location, very easy to check in and out. Had a great night’s sleep, which I find very rare in a hotel! Really quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Great location. First room assigned had an horrible smell (sewer) and had steps down the room from entrance. Second room was spacious, but shower pressure and heating was bad. Breakfast was very good.

When we arrived, we had to have the plumber called because the bathroom sink would not drain. For an American, the system for turning on bathtub water and then turning on the shower was mystifying. It took me a lot of experimentation to finally figure it out. One part of the wall siding in the bedroom was falling off and despite calling it to management attention was never fixed. And it was nearly impossible to adjust the air conditioning system. An engineer said it was very old and only adjustable from a central source. And a visiting friend in the lobby slotted a rat- he said in central Amsterdam it was impossible to control them. Having said all that, it’s a fabulous location and the staff and service was great.
