Perfectly situated in the heart of Girdwood, you'll find convenience at every turn, with the Alyeska day lodge just a short stroll away. Whether you're here to hit the slopes or simply unwind in the Alaskan wilderness, our cozy retreat offers the ideal base for your adventures.

All VRBO bookings will have a $300 damage/incidental hold placed and will be released 48 hours after check out.
- We are not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occur while on the promises.
- If you damage the home, you might be charged up to the cost of repairs.
- No smoking, vaping, or use of marijuana at anytime anywhere on this property, this includes front porch.
- Do not have any more guests than stated in your reservation, without prior approval. Having a total number of people greater than the max occupancy is ground for immediate termination of the reservation without refund.
- NO loud music and NO Parties (No exceptions) . The property's quiet hours are in place to ensure that you and the whole community can enjoy a restful night's sleep.
- Do not attempt to access unit above - it's a separate property with people living in it.
- Garage is not available for the guests: do not attempt to get in.

Girdwood getaway
The town was great to visit! I arrived in the rain and getting into the condo was no piece of cake. Although the host warns about the key access issue, it us after the booking, so a bit frustrating:( The key would not open the 2nd floor door so i had to carry luggage in rain to get to first floor to access the 2nd gloor

Immediately on walking in, there's a strong smell of pee. There was also som sticky substance on the floor by a bookshelf that looked like pee (maybe dog pee?). The building itself is also pretty dirty and smelly that just dampens the entire experience.

The unit was clean but unfortunately the management company has not fixed the check-in problems that others have reported. This unit is in need of many repairs as the countertop is being held together with electrical tape, light fixtures & floor needing repairs. There was no balcony furniture so you could not enjoy it.

A little difficult to find; lockbox wasn’t easy to open, door upstairs wasn’t easy to open; pullout sheets were wet with no way to dry. We ran out of hot water after third shower so fourth person took cold shower. Not horrible but not the best.

Pictures are deceiving - the place is older, they said it had been cleaned (who ever swept/vacuumed didn’t do a very good job) & my daughter is a germ a phobic who wouldn’t put the baby on the linen; so we ended up leaving & driving the four hours home.

Not good directions for the unit, once you arrive. Parking location, lockbox, etc. was a challenge based on directions. Given incorrect code to lockbox, so this was a challenge until calling for help. Hallways of building stink and the unit itself had mold around the tub molding.
