DESCRIPTION:
This home is a newly renovated single-family waterfront home directly on a canal with spectacular outdoor space with multiple decks and both bay and canal views! The home is situated at the north end of the island within an easy bike or golf cart ride to Anna Maria's Pine Avenue shops, the bayside beach, Anna Maria City Pier and gulf-side beaches!

Every amenity was thought of when this home was lovingly renovated! This home is so much fun you may never even want to leave.... bikes, kayak, SUP boards, multiple games, bocce, firepit, cornhole, and foosball!

The home's ground floor has a one car garage and indoor/outdoor space with sitting area, TV and extra fridge. The pool is heated year-round, and the spa provides some extra warmth and relaxation at the end of hard day at the beach. The home has two grills, gas and charcoal, as well as an outdoor shower! This home also has a large private dock so you can bring your own boat and store in your own backyard!

Head upstairs to the home's main living floor and you will find a gorgeous open concept living, dining, kitchen area. The huge kitchen island and breakfast bar has counter seating with stainless steel high-end appliances and every kitchen gizmo and gadget imaginable fit for every chef's need. You will be able to whip some fabulous meals at home or prep some libations for entertaining on one of the home's spacious covered balconies! There are two balconies on the first floor alone off both the front and back of the home with plenty of seating!

The main floor is also home to one king bed master suite with closet, TV and en-suite full bathroom with tub/shower combination accessible from the living room as well. The living room has games and large screen TV for enjoying some family time as well as washer and dryer.

Wind up the stairs and you will find the top floor has 3 additional bedrooms. There is a queen bedroom with closet, TV and full en-suite bath with walk in shower also accessible from the hallway. The 'family room' has a TRIPLE (twin) bunk as well as queen bed, closet, and TV. The final MASTER SUITE with king bed and TV boasts a sprawling master bathroom with separate closet, toilet closet, soaking tub, huge walk-in shower, double sinks, and even its own wine/coffee bar!

The top floor has two additional covered decks off the front and back of this home with bay and canal views respectively. This home is truly going to be a home that you will want to come visit again and again for your AMI vacations!

Conveniently situated just steps away from water access, our property offers the perfect launching point for your aquatic adventures. With clearly marked signage, accessing the water for kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and more is a breeze. If you're looking to soak up some sun on the beach, Bayfront Park on the bay side or a leisurely stroll down Magnolia to the Gulf of Mexico (a mere 15-minute walk) provides picturesque waterfront settings for your enjoyment. For added convenience, our location boasts easy access to the nearest free trolley stop, just a 7-minute walk north, allowing you to explore the Gulf side of the island with ease. Embrace the coastal lifestyle and make the most of your stay with us!

POLICIES:
NO PETS. NO SMOKING.

Registered Guest must provide copy of ID, be at least 25 years of age and be present throughout entire stay.

Standard occupancy is 2 persons per every standard bedroom, an additional occupant fee of $25 per person/per night will be assessed for each occupant over this up to max occupancy, if applicable.

Quiet Hours 10p-8a. You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

Reservations are typically taken for 7-night Saturday-Saturday stays. However, we can offer flexible stays with varying minimum night requirements and non-Saturday check-ins/check-outs during most of the year with exception to holidays and peak weeks unless city ordinances prohibit it. Always feel free to ask prior to booking to see if this is a possibility as we may not be able to accommodate changes after booking.

CLEANING AND SAFETY:
All our homes and linens are cleaned, sanitized, and inspected between each guest per industry standards. A starter set of basic amenities, linens, towels, and bedding are provided at the beginning of your stay per home occupancy. Daily housekeeping or linen services are not included in your stay.

Additional cleaning and laundry services are available by request mid-stay at additional charge. For stays of 28-days or more, a mid-stay clean will be required to be scheduled and paid by guest at additional cost.

This home participates in our Professional Linen Program. This ensures high quality linens and towels are provided according to the home's occupancy at the beginning of your stay. These are professionally laundered at a commercial facility between each guest. Please keep in mind extra sets are not kept in homes.

GOLF CART RENTALS:
Golf carts are a fun and easy way to get around the island! After booking, reserve one for your stay with our sister company, Once Upon A Beach Carts, for an exclusive discount for our vacation rental guests!

BABY EQUIPMENT RENTALS:
Baby equipment is not available for use at the home for safety and sanitation reasons. We are however partnered with local companies offering rentals of these items including pick-up and drop-off.

POOL & SPA (if any):
The pool is heated year round at no additional cost for the convenience and comfort of our guests. Pool temperatures are set between 82-85 degrees and will not be set higher due to keeping proper chemical balance, clarity, and cleanliness of the pools. Due to strict city noise ordinances pool heaters and filters do not run during the hours of 10p-8a. Please note that cooler ambient temperatures (20 degree difference between water and air temperature) may result in pool heater unable to compensate the difference. We are not responsible for cold spells causing cooler pool temperatures or unexpected failure of equipment. Please note that a residential spa is a section of pool that once turned on provides relaxation, misting bubbles and warmer temperatures in the high 90s - low 100s but are not permitted to remain on 24/7 or will not reach temperatures like that of a commercial hot tub. Spas may not be operational during the months of June - September to avoid high temperatures of pool water which is detrimental to keeping proper pool chemical balances. Guests are required to read and abide by all posted rules, safety and operating information. Under no circumstance is any guest allowed to adjust pool equipment. Failure to abide may result in guests being fined or liable for any damages to equipment.

PROPERTY SECURITY/SAFETY:
Please note this home may be equipped with Ring, Nest or other exterior cameras viewing front door, driveways, pool equipment, and entry/exits of backyard areas only. Cameras are only intended to keep property safe and secure, monitor deliveries, assure occupancy, and are not angled into any areas where guests would assume or expect privacy.

PAYMENTS:
50% of total amount due must be made at time of reservation request to confirm reservation.
50% of total amount due must be paid on or before 60 days prior to check-in date
Full amount due must be made at time of booking if check in date is within next 60 days.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please review the details of our Cancellation Policy page or Terms & Conditions at booking. We encourage you to review as OUR POLICIES HAVE CHANGED as of MARCH 25, 2023. We continue to offer refunds of deposits for cancellations (for stays of 28 days or less) made greater than 60 days to arrival, however all cancellations are now subject to a non-refundable booking admin fee. We continue to offer our US Citizens guests (with exception to residents of NY and HI) the option of purchasing CSA Travel Insurance directly with us. We strongly encourage all guests to purchase Travel Insurance in the event of any unforeseen eventualities. Refunds or credits are not provided for COVID-19 related cancellations, weather or beach conditions outside of our cancellation policy. Hurricane season is June 1st – November 30th.

Manager is not responsible for providing refunds due to circumstances beyond the Manager's control like travel disruptions, guest travel restrictions, work and school scheduling changes, etc. Weather, tropical storms, hurricane threats, environmental conditions like red-tide, construction, water, or beach conditions cannot be guaranteed.

All cancellation requests must be initiated by Registered Guest through the website in which they booked and/or be in writing via email. Cancellation requests will not be accepted via phone, text, or by a member of the party other than the main Registered Guest.

Great Getaway!
We were able to truly enjoy Anna Maria and the home with our 6 kids! The description of the amenities and home were very accurate and there was plenty to keep the kids busy while we relaxed in the sun! Highly recommend a stay at Sea Swept Mermaid!

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was fantastic. Great location and was perfect to have the dock steps from the house to keep our small center console. Very protected water and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of towels and chairs, etc. Nice gas grill steps from the kitchen. The pool was a great way to unwind after a day on the water. The master bathroom is huge and you can catch some views of the bay from upstairs. A small beach on the bayside is just across the street. We hope to come back!

The location and amenities were excellent. The property was clean but we found dated items that need replacement or repair. A sink was 90% clogged, a shower curtain rod wouldnt stay up, the deck furniture is very worn and wobbly. Two chairs broke completely when we sat in them. There is only one 10" nonstick skillet that is warped and the teflon flakes off. The only other skillet is 7". The spatula edges are chipped and hard to cook with. The quilt and coverlets need laundering because they smelled. The bathrooms and kitchen was clean, as were the bedding, towels and floors. Although we found it satisfactory, for the price we paid, we felt it was "tired" and needs updating. Nonetheless, a reunion of 3 couples was fun and the facility adequate.

Great location with all the comforts
This home was just as advertised and as we had hoped. Easy check-in. It was very clean and ready for our stay. The bedrooms were all large with good beds and bedding. The bathrooms and showers had great water pressure and soaps and shampoos were included. The kitchen and laundry had everything we needed including soaps and extra garbage bags. The air conditioning was excellent. The garage had many toys for the water and beach - paddle boards, canoes, chairs, floats, etc. The pool and hot tub were ready to go. The best part for us was keeping our boat behind the house at the dock. We hope to stay here again soon.

Great Spot on Anna Maria
Overall we really liked this property. The location faces the bay and sits on a canal. The beach is on the other side of the island and you need to drive (golf cart rental a must!) to get there. You're close to the best restaurant on the island, Waterfront, as well as Pine Ave shops and restaurants. The property itself has been thoughtfully re-done. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need to make a meal, but we enjoyed eating out each night. The stemware is darling and makes for a fun happy hour! We were a family of 4 with 2 teens. We had plenty of space and everyone had their own bedroom and bath. Would not have wanted more then 6 in this property however, as it would've felt tight. There are coolers and beach toys, boogie and paddle boards. They definitely have outfitted the gear portion of the house well! The beds need to be updated and the linens could use a refresh as well, only thing that kept us from 5 star rating. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect Family Vacation Spot
We loved our trip to Anna Maria Island. This property was perfect for our family. They had lots of beach supplies at the house, we did not use them because we spent most of our time on boat. The dock on the property was perfect for the boat. House was amazing, all the amenities you need for your vacation. We only used our car once during the whole trip. Renting a golf cart is the way to go on the island. The pool provided a nice cool off after a day on the boat along with the grill for meals at night. We would definitely stay here again. Our boys are 15,12 and 7 and absolutely loved the house and location!

Wonderful spring break vacation in a great home!
We had a wonderful spring break vacation at this property. Two families stayed in the house, 4 adults and 3 kids. The house was nicely updated, clean, and looked just like the pictures online. We had never visited AMI before and really appreciated the location of this property as we explored the island. It is a quiet area and within walking distance (or a short golf cart ride) to restaurants, shops, and beaches. We had a car service take us from the airport to the house and only used a golf cart for the week. That worked out perfect to get us around and we didn't find that a car was needed for anything we wanted to do. All of the bedrooms were spacious and we found all of the beds to be comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and spacious but were lacking towel racks/hooks. One towel rack in each bathroom was not enough to keep up with our wet towels from showers and the beach. Even a small hook on the back of the bedroom or bathroom doors would have been helpful. The only towel rack in the upstairs suite was in an awkward location. We also found it difficult to get ready without a full-length mirror anywhere in the house. We used the grocery delivery service that was advertised with this rental and it worked out great. Our arrival was in the middle of a storm and walking in with a fully stocked kitchen was so helpful! The kitchen had the necessities, a few more spices, cooking spray, and kitchen scissors would have been helpful. We loved having so much space on all of the balconies! My personal favorite was the one with the dining table overlooking the canal, we used that one daily. We even saw a dolphin playing in the canal one afternoon! Having the pool mostly covered by the balcony was a nice break from the sun. The pool was clean and the spa worked well, the owners were able to help us resolve a small issue we were having with the temperature. We used the kayaks and SUP to explore the canals. My son tried fishing with one of the many poles provided. The fishing lines were a mess but since he has plenty of fishing experience he also had the patience to get the lines fixed so the poles worked properly. All of the beach supplies were much appreciated, chairs, wagons, coolers, beach toys, pool toys, and life jackets. There were 4 bikes as well but we never had an opportunity to use them. We all had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property and would absolutely recommend it.

Canal home
The house was well appointed with everything we needed. Being on the canal allowed everyone to go out on paddle boards and see the manatees swimming in the bay. This was a great location near the downtown area that allowed for ease of shopping, short walk to the beach and quiet at night.

The house was in a perfect location for us. It was clean and spacious. My only issue was that stocking the kitchen almost seemed like an afterthought. Minimal pots and pans! Nothing even big enough to cook pancakes or bacon. We had to do dishes daily - the utensils were so scanty. Most of it looked as if it were purchased at a dollar store - very cheap. Despite this - we would book again next year - however - the price is going up 200 per night!! Will be looking elsewhere.

Expectations Exceeded
We loved this property and our time on Anna Marie island. So much so that decided to extended our stay as no one was ready to leave (easy communication / process). Owners were very responsive and attentive. House has everything you need for the perfect island vacation. Wonderful views of the bay and easy short ride (highly recommend renting a golf cart - made live so much easier) to beautiful white sandy beaches. 5+ star rating.

Great house
Great house in a great location. Was perfect for 3 couples and also would be for a large family, pool, spa and boat dock all excellent. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of beach gear, great paddle boards and kayaks. Overall an outstanding house, would stay again.

Great time
The property was everything it said it would be and more. There were lots to do from Bocci ball to paddle board, you could not be bored. Only thing i would suggest is some kind of "Pantry" cabinet, had lots of food for a week and not cabinets in the kitchen to put food. otherwise its a great place.

Fantastic choice for AMI
Adding my voice to the many others who sang the praises of this house. Pictures don’t do justice to how lovely the view from the back deck is. In fact there were so many vantage points to enjoy the scenery front and back. House is remarkably well stocked to make it easy to take advantage of the surroundings- with bikes, beach chairs, kayak etc all waiting for you. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked. Also loved the location. Finally the management company- Once Upon A Beach- could not have been more responsive. Overall, wonderful stay.
