The room was attractive and comfortable. The problem was the people in the room next to us had a yapping dog. Apparently there is no insulation around the outlets and I could hear the owner of Nigel the dog telling it to be quiet loud and clear. About 11:15 pm I gave up all hope of the owner keeping the dog quiet and called the desk. After a call from the desk, Nigel's owner did what he should have done in the first place to keep his dog from yapping every 15 minutes or so. I am not opposed to pet friendly establishments, but the owners need to be responsible about keeping their pets under control. So terrible sleeping conditions the first night and great sleeping conditions the second night, because Nigel and owner had left. I enjoyed being able to walk everywhere I needed to go. The valet service was excellent.

Lovely historic inn
Place was historic and lovely. Comfortable room. Felt some updating is needed though - in room coffee machine hardly worked, bathroom grout needed cleaning. Noisy hallway. Received no housekeeping services while there unless asked for it.

No!!! The bathroom tub was so worn and had mold that was painted over and some that was not. The floor was dirty in the bathroom, the windows would not open. The icing on the cake was the old blood or face make up on the comforter. Really bummed. $$$

We liked the hotel and staff quite a bit. We did not like that our room didn’t have any natural daylight since the windows were overlooking an indoor area. We also would have liked more places to put things in the bathroom and some hooks in the bathroom and main room.

I enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel. It was quiet and the room was spacious. My husband and I would stay here again if coming back to Annapolis.

The room was very sweet but a bit worn out. The bathroom window needs work. The only thing that could use improvement was the housekeeping. They took our used face cloths and never replaced them.

Never again. It's bait and switch as they shuffle you off to the Maryland Inn despite checkin at Calvert. My room's floor was so slanted, the head of the bed was 7" lower than the foot and they didn't even shim it up. I slept with my head in the opposite direction. I've been in boat bathrooms larger than what I had. Absolutely should be condemend.
