No help on accidental booking
Accidentally booked wrong dates as for some reason when i pressed book it changed dates to May from April. Contacted hotels .com didn’t get far with it. Lost the £82 paid for this and then had to rebook to have correct dates. I informed hotels.com straight away but still no refund on accidental wrong dates that have been booked 😔 really disappointed by this

So we didn’t expect much from an F1; you get what you pay for. But we have stayed in other F1s before, which were much better. Half the toilets were out of action. I imagine poor drainage as by the end of the day the showers were flooded and dirty. No air/con. However it is only a 10 minute walk to Pringy train station which is one stop from Annecy and therefore easy to get around from if you don’t have a car.

More hostel (student diggs) than hotel
It's like a hostel, most guests are seemingly seasonal workers, as it's a convenient location. Strange experience for a hotel, as it's communal bathrooms and toilets - didn't use the bathroom in the end, as it's all wet and I didn't feel comfortable with the set-up. You get what you pay for... a clean bed to sleep in. There's a basin with taps in the room at least, but no English TV channels, so boring. Our biggest gripe was the cigarette smoke that filled the corridor and came into our room (especially as I have allergies), we complained, but the staff refuse to speak English, so that didn't resolve anything - very unhelpful. Next morning, we saw all the cigarette buts that's been flicked onto our car from a window above - guessing that was the room who's occupants smoked, despite it being a non-smoking hotel. Did quite like the doorcode instead of key set-up, that's quite clever.

Budget hotel with good location
There was still someone at the reception when we arrived even though it was 2 am and the confirmation stated that the reception closes at 9 so I was very happy to find someone still there. He was pleasant, helpful and spoke English. The location is also great very close to Annecy with free parking on site. However, the reason I would not recommend this hotel is because the whole place smelt of cigarette smoke. Even though our reservation was for a non-smoking room it was obvious that people had been smoking there, which is a big shame and greatly affects my feeling of comfort, the other thing that lets this place down is the bathroom facility. I could accept the fact that the bathrooms are outside the rooms, for this price that's ok but the bathrooms were dirty and there were bugs on the floor. A big deep clean would do wonders and perhaps installing smoke detectors would also help.

Basic, but good value-for-money and well-located
Hotel F1 is basic, but the rooms are clean, unlike some 4* hotels I've stayed in. The toilets and showers are separate, making it more like a hostel than hotel. Though the water is hot and they were always available when required, they could do with a deep clean, or even better, a refurb. The staff were really helpful. The rooms were cosy overnight, so although our rad wouldn't go on, we were warm enough. Bunk beds made for a bit of an adventure in our mid-30s! ;) Well-located for Geneva commute, Annecy and into mountains for cheaper ski option. Free wifi was reliable and streamed video.

Tout d’abord la chambre n’avez pas étais nettoyé capsule de bière sous le lit douche salle et literie pas très propre non plus le matelas et très très dur comme dans une garde à vue le personnel nous réveille à 10h pour nettoyer la chambre et ce permet de rentrer dans la chambre pendant qu’on dormait à fuire

Le pire hôtel de tous les temps
Le pire hôtel de tous les temps, j'ai jamais imaginé qu'un auberge de jeûnesse pourra avoir un plus grand comfort qu'un hôtel. Les toillettes sont catastrophiques. La chambre est tellement basique que vous n'aurez même pas un petit frigo.

À fuir, désastre de tout les points de vue, j’avais pris pour dépanner ce soir la mais.. lit double avec deux lits singuliers qui se divisent de le moindre mouvement, pas de toilette ni de douches tout est commun, pas de papier ni de serviettes rien, pas de clim, je sais que c’est un hotel low cost mais la… Je crois y avoir attrapé la gale
