Welcome to Asheville!
The short story
Loft living with a view of downtown roofs and mountains in the distance: it doesn't get any better than this! Seven hundred square feet with a separate bedroom and sleek bathroom, modern kitchen and lovely living space on the second floor of the brand new remodeled Rankin Press building in the middle of downtown. All the character of a historic building (original exposed brick walls and hardwood floors, high ceilings) combines with stylish, modern amenities (stainless appliances, modern bathroom, washer/dryer, elevator, chic street entrance) to give you the most comfortable life in Asheville. Step outside and you are in the middle of everything: the culinary, shopping and art mecca of Asheville. Step inside and you are in a quiet, secluded urban hideaway. Secure off street parking available right across from your front door in city operated parking deck. Designated loading bay by front door for easy arrival and departure. Sleeps 2 to 4 in comfortable, clean and quiet luxury.
Let us tell you a little more
Come experience the luxe and quiet of our spacious loft in the heart of downtown. Furnished and decorated with a European design sense, modern yet warm and inviting, you will start relaxing the minute you step inside. Everything is designed for your comfort. Clean, peaceful and perfectly outfitted: our loft has everything for the discerning traveler. Spend the day eating, drinking and making merry, or spend it rafting, hiking and playing (you can store your road or mountain bikes in our building). Then come back to your centrally located loft, rest, put your feet up, and get ready to go out again into the vibrant nightlife of Asheville. There is a restaurant with a James Beard Award nominated chef on the corner of your street (Table); his den of mixology, with out-of-this-world cocktails, is one flight of stairs up from there (The Imperial Life). Or how about a loungey bar for chocolate lovers, with wine, of course, but also handmade bonbons and spectacular deserts so good that the line often stretches out the door (French Broad Chocolate Lounge)? Walk down the street and around the corner, and you're there. You are also next door to the south's finest shoe store with its 300 brands and staff of personal shoppers (Tops for Shoes). Those are just a few of the many, many fun things to do in asheville. You can catch a play at the Asheville Community Theatre or a movie at the Fine Arts cinema. Or how about a leisurely stroll to the River Arts District, to visit artists in their studios and have a beer at The Wedge? Speaking of beer, famous local artisanal beers and their brewers are calling your name! See what's brewing and sample what's new at the many downtown bars and breweries. Watch the sun set on Cold Mountain at Asheville's highest elevation bar (The Sky Bar). Go hear a live band at the famous Orange Peel. Take a Pilates or yoga class and have a spa treatment. So many things to do, so much to see. You can go days without using your car, which is safely and affordably parked, off street, right across from your front door.
