Incredible view of the acropolis and Athens and surrounds from rooftop bar and restaurant. Very new, clean and comfortable with obliging staff. Three minute stroll from Sigmata square. If you can, get a room away from the street. Parties on Friday and Saturday nights are as long as they are noisy. Watch the pavements and hotel entrance for trip hazards

Great view but noise is too loud.
We couldn’t sleep at night as the noise outside was so loud. Music garbage pick up people screaming car and scooter etc. the window is so thin you hear everything till 4:40am. Horrible sleep. Breakfast was amazing and the view. Location is great but we will not be staying there again. Too noisy!!

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to everything but the property itself was just ok. A bit shabby and rooms are small. The included breakfast is a plus. The best part is the view of the Acropolis from your room. Excellent view! Even better at night when it’s lit up. Stay for the location and the view, but don’t expect a nice room.

Great location and reasonably priced. Athens seemed very safe and the area seemed busy till late so felt safe. Everything and most of the sights very easily accessible. Lively area and being Athens the coffee, dessert and dining scene was amazing with all amenities nearby. However our room was on a level that seemed to get noisy with the street noise until late at night and early morning. We are extensively travelled and like our comforts but did not find the bed or pillows (flat) to our comfort expectations. Staff were polite and responsive. Breakfast was good and with a view of the Acropolis

I have stayed at the Astor many times ( more than a dozen)..they have worked hard to bring it up to a new standard. It shows and was appreciated. I also understand that staff gets worn out from a non stop season. I will address the issue with management directly. Location, cleanliness and comfort are 5 star. Breakfast on the roof always fabulous

Friendly and helpful staff! Good location. Great food and rooftop view of Acropolis. Bathroom needs a good scrub, shower head needs to be placed with a barrier between the toilet and shower as water gets everywhere when showering. Other than that it was a good experience. 4 stars

Awesome Location
This hotel is everything I am looking for. The rooms are clean, staff efficient and the location is convenient, safe and within walking distance to all major tourist attractions. This hotel was booked before our cruise and I thoroughly loved it. After the cruise I choose a different hotel based on reviews (Coco Mat Athens) and I regret that decision. I really wish I was back at the Astor.
