The hotel was clean, as was our room. The ensuite bathroom didn't smell good and was a little outdated, and had no heating or ventilation, which made it a little bracing to use first thing in the morning in January! The breakfast room staff weren't that friendly and loudly announced the finish of breakfast if anyone dared to spend a minute later than the published closing time. Breakfast choices were limited for vegans, with no dairy-free milk or yoghurt - toast and jam for me every morning, gluten free would only have been able to eat olives and an apple, or fruit from a tin...thankfully Athens as a whole catered more for GF and V. When the same room transformed into a snack bar in the evening, it also offered nothing for the aforementioned dietary choices; not even any snacks like french fries, chips or nuts. I paid 2 euro for a tiny cup of tea in an effort to warm up and was offered no hot water top-ups or snacks to go with it. It could be really good, and maybe it is in season, but we are paying guests just the same. Fine if you're planning to literally just sleep there and find your creature comforts in the city, and probably more comfortable in the high season, but I felt it was a little lacking even for a budget hotel. It was however brilliant that the reception desk is manned 24hrs, as you are not permitted to leave the hotel with your room key, which is fair enough, and the reception staff were lovely.

We are glad to read that you enjoyed the cleanliness of your room and the 24hrs frond desk service. However we are more than concerned to read that you didn't enjoyed the offered breakfast, mostly as a result of the variety in Breakfast Buffet & the behaviour of our staff. Kindly note that the breafast timetable is set in that way in order to prepare the room for the evening and also for the next day on time Furthermore, please allow me to mention that in the breakfast buffet are included more than 30 different products and some of them are Vegan & Gluten Free such as Coffee ,Tea(Green/Chamomile/ Earl Grey), Juices (Orange & Lemonade), Marmalades, Dry Fruits, margarine, olive oil & olives, musli, bread made from corn, fresh fruits and vegetable (not only from can). Regarding the Bar on the 7th floor i would like to mention that there are also several options for dining (gluten free or Vegan options) such spinach pies or fresh salads and vegeterian pizzas. Thank you once again for your preference and note that critical yet constructive feedback like yours only help us to continuously improve on the future since our goal is to exceed our guest's expectations. Athens

Great Hotel Evripides. Had a lovely time Clean rooms, Basic breakfast but enough to get you going. Location 10 min walk from Metro Monastiraki station. Easy to walk to sight seeing . Reception staff always smiling and helpful. Overall had agreat stay and will recommend it to anyone . This sttaion is on metro blue line from airport in 40 minutes. lots of options to eat in pisri and acropolis is close too.

Very good location, you can walk almost everywhere. Staff was nice and helpfull. Room was old, but clean. We had everything what we needed.
