The Stanley is an excellent choice in its property class. Adjacent to the city center, public transport is readily accessible, as well as a hop on/hop off bus stop right around the corner. The room was very nicely appointed with many amenities, including complementary mini bar, upmarket bathroom products and an abundance of towels, coffee/tea bar and I even received a beautiful wine and fruit tray. The bed was super comfy and I appreciated the black out curtains and large flat screen TV that allowed me to log into my Netflix account. It goes without saying that the rooftop dining and pool area are amazing. And, the VIEW!!! But right up there with all the material perks was an awesome staff. Everyone, to a person, was warm and helpful. I stayed 4 nights, and moved to my next stop on an 11-day trip, but honestly if I’d known how lovely The Stanley is, I would have booked a longer stay. I will definitely be back!

Amazing location, the metro is within steps of the hotel. We never felt unsafe walking around even at night. Lots of little places to eat around the area. The hotel is clean and the room decent size, we had 3 adults with a rollaway bed. Our room faced the center roundabout but the windows were well insulated and we could not hear anything outside. Breakfast was super tasty with so many options! The hop on/hop off bus stops right there, added bonus!

Hotel is a good four star hotel clean rooms, nice pool and restaurant, good AC bed was comfortable. Breakfast generic it caters to bus loads and there will be tour groups here. Main drawback it is a run down area with nothing around to see, no restaurants or typical Greek neighborhood. It takes a 8 $ Uber to get to center area so we did that each day. The place is ok for 1-2 days but a longer stay o would recommend the other side of center Athens by plaka.

Beautiful breakfast buffet with many options. The floor in our room was very dirty, black on towel when wiped on floor after shower. Bathroom was never cleaned in 5 days, dirty sink particularly. Clean fresh bedding and very comfortable bed. No place for luggage other than the floor, only one small luggage stand.
