Room NOTHING like the website

Pros: Food in the morning was grand.
Cons: Customer service. Rooms.
Had contacted the hotel via my booking on ebookers that I would be late arriving as I was travelling from South of Ireland after work & asked for a nice room after the long drive if it was possible. The hotel was aware of this as when I arrived when I checked in on the form I signed was the ebookers confirmation with my request on it stapled to it. The room I got was on the bottom floor which is fine but it was right across from McDonalds 24 hour Drive thru. So all night cars coming and going (Boyracers). Also the room was at the end of the corridor which again is fine except it was right across from the staff room where the cleaning staff get their products & when I arrived at my door on the night I was greet by three large blue containers on wheels where I take it laundry is transported in, ready for the morning so as a results in the morning the hive of activity outside my room was a busy staff at work. Ok take it that I was late despite telling them in advance and ringing them on my way to tell them I was going to be even later than 11.30pm they may not have had rooms left. Maybe I should have went back up to reception and asked for a room change but it was late enough & when I arrived there was no one on reception you had to ring for the night porter, so I decided against it. As for the room it was small, the curtains were paper thin & hung on a timber curtain rail with timber rings. There was an ironing board and iron just attached to the wall in the middle of the room
