ATL Downtown 2 Bedroom Condo Free Parking

Summary:
- Newly upgraded apartment in a historic Condominium building
- Ideal location for exploring major ATL attractions
- Two luxurious bedrooms for a comfortable stay
- Work desk with 36” monitor with USB-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort laptop docking connections and wired keyboard and mouse.
- One Free On-site Parking Spot

The Space:
You will have private access to the entire unit throughout your stay. Keep in mind that our unit is updated, but The building is an older building and a busy high rise. This means you can hear (and sometimes smell) neighbor activity in the hallway and even through the vents.
There is a laundry room located in the basement of the building. Payment is required (credit card payment is accepted).

Guest Access:
Please make sure the number of guests checking in is on the reservation and provide us. Our HOA requires everyone to be accounted for in case of an emergency.

The Neighborhood:
Close to MARTA Rail, America's Mart, World Congress Center, GA Capitol, Peachtree Center, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, GA Tech & State Sports Stadiums, World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium, & Centennial Olympic Park...

Getting Around:
Peachtree Center Marta is 3 blocks away, its 25 minutes to the airport ($2.50), Midtown is 5 minutes, Buckhead is 10 minutes. The condo is also right next to the on-ramp for I-75/85 and I-20, so getting around by car is also very convenient. You are a 5-10 minute Uber from anything Downtown or Midtown. This condo is on the Freedom Park Trail, so you can be on the Beltline in 10 minutes.

Close to MARTA Rail, AmericasMart, World Congress Center, GA Capitol, Peachtree Center, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, GA Tech & State Sports Stadiums, World of Coca-Cola, & Centennial Olympic Park.

Other Things to Note:
Guests should note that the condo is located in the heart of the city and just like other city centers in the US, there are often houseless individuals smoking drinking around the area and outside of our building. Unfortunately this is something out of our control.

Also the building is under construction at the moment, so there are blowers in the floor of the lobby and in the hallways to get rid off the smells, if you find them too loud at night, you can turn them off. Our parking lot is on-site but privately owned and the third party owner is not very responsible, so you may see some trash in the area. In addition, the parking lot can get creepy at night, please find another parking lot nearby if you are not comfortable. Once more, unfortunately this is also something out of our control.

AC and heating are available seasonally. The AC is a PTAC system - wall units controlled by the HOA without a thermostat. We check the weather frequently and try to notify guests if we think it can be problematic, which may happen in transition seasons like the start of Spring or Fall. If you have very high standards for the temperature, we may not be your good choice.

Please remember you are in a condominium with other residents and owners. As your hosts, we try as much as we can to be available from 830am to 930pm but please note - we may be in a meeting, at a doctor's appointment, and after-hours, sleeping. If you need a lot of assistance after hours and guaranteed immediate responses during the day, this may not be the condo for you.

Interaction with Guests:
We are available by message, Airbnb message, and the phone call.

Building didn’t feel safe
Although the initial experience was superb, once we arrived to the building location, it felt like we were in some sort of alternate universe. The building itself looked like something from the tv show Good Times and looked haunted. It was a hassle getting into the lobby, but once we were inside, security/desk worker checked us in fairly quickly. We decided to check the room out before taking our things, and I’m glad we did. The lobby near the elevators seemed to have had water damage and had industrial machines trying to get rid of the moisture, unsuccessfully masking the mold scent. The elevator was tight and had a sign warning us not to panic if we got stuck, which made us kind of panic at what must’ve been a normal occurrence in that building. Once we got the our floor, there was old, musty carpet and dingy white walls with rust peaking through. When we got to the door, things were looking more hopeful with the keypad lock, but once we entered, things just seemed off. Clean but off. The pictures seemed approximate compared to what we saw—things we similar but not quite to scale that the photos showed. After touring the space, which itself wasn’t terrible, just off, we went back to the elevators. The one that opened had a huge hole in the ceiling opening that made us feel unsafe and caused us to question all the “little things” we’d seen before. Once we went down a different elevator and left the building, we decided not to stay for safety reasons and booked a hotel room.

Terrible experience
Conditions of this condo are terrible and the description was nothing like the actual condo. There were roaches in the kitchen and when this was reported to the owner their only response was for them to send us a spray and kill the roaches ourselves. There was also mold in the bathroom. The location was terrible and the individuals at the front were rude. Overall this was a terrible experience.
