TV Service/Breakfast

TV service wasn't working. Front Desk Agent said it should be working. I kept telling him it wasn't working. This happened over multiple days. Eventually, he offered a switch of rooms (he had determined there was a problem with the cable TV) which I did but the TV in the 2nd room did not work either. Eventually, I got to a 3rd room which the TV was working - this happened near the end of my stay. I was in town for college football play-off championship and wanted local TV news coverage - was disappointing. Also, the breakfast wasn't fully replenished each of the days.

My 4day stay at Best Western

The room had a strange smell, the ceiling had yellow stains on it, the door would close all the way, the hall way smelled funny; maybe because of the dated carpets. The internet did not work in the room and the clerk told me the they didn’t provide internet to the tv on purpose, so we couldn’t watch tv for the entire length of our stay. I had to sit in the lobby the day I was leaving in order to conduct some important business and they were doing a training session with the Brand Ambassador/trainer, I think and the things that herd…. The sheets , pillows and pillow cases had yellow stains on them and I asked for them to be changed and they weren’t changed. The best part of our stay, was the shower/hot water!!

The hotel needs to be better.

When I came into the hotel it was beautiful for the lobby. I love the water fountain & it was like a waterfall. I was at the checkout desk & no one was there. I've waited for nearly 10 minutes for someone to help me check in. it could've been better if it wasn't for that situation. The bathrooms were nice inside. The room was ok but could've been better. I saw the sign outside of the hotel saying rooms renovating. there was mildew like on the bathroom wall. Some of the paint off the furniture on the room were coming off. The bathtub drain paint was coming off too. The sink could've come out into one & not like sprinkles. It's something like the shower spout.
