Disliked: Staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
1. the key of the room assigned on my arrival was
inoperative
2. the room to which I was subsequently transferred was
improperly isolated from the neighboring room (the
door allowing internal access to the neighbor) could
not be locked. Fortunately a repairman was able to
repair the lock that same evening,
3. on the morning of the third day, I requested that my
room be serviced. On my arrival back to the hotel that
evening (after a long tiring day of work) I was
disappointed to find that the room had not been
serviced,
4. on the morning of the fourth day, I again requested
that the room be serviced. I was again disappointed
that the bed had not been prepared although the room
had been cleaned. The excuse was apparently that
the cleaning people thought that I had already ended
my stay at the hotel. The lady at the front counter was
very apologetic and tried to be as helpful as possible
(she was most respectful) and transferred me to
another room,
5. the new room was pleasant until I discovered that
the bathroom sink was partially plugged.
6. the side entrance from the parking lot was
inoperative, thus forcing a long roundabout walk via
the main hotel entrance
I emphasize that the entire staff were most embarrassed by all these issues and were as helpful as possible in attempting to resolve all the encountered problems.
I was happy to leave the hotel
