The hotel staff was amazing. Me and my gust got sguck in the elevator and had to walk and up down to the 9th floor twice due to the elevators being out. Also there were a couole roaches in the room.

The hotel is very outdated and needs some TLC and maybe a deep cleaning and remodel…the location was great but everything leading up to it sketchy but wasn’t terrifying. Just the condition of the rooms and hotel in general

Great value but questionable surroundings
This hotel is not located in the safest of areas. They do have security but it was still a little unsettling to be in the location. The hotel elevator only had one side that was working and from what I was told a simple inspection would have made the other side operational but it was not being taken care of. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good, once you were in your room and you made it to your floor it was ok.

It is a dump and not clean
The place is in a state of disrepair -th grab bar was hanging by one side the screws coming out and the bathroom tiles are cracked and moldy. What a dump I can’t believe Marriott puts there name on this building. This place needs a major cleaning and renovation. Will not be back. Should have stayed at the Hilton.

I enjoyed my stay at the Fairfield. I came up to Georgia from Florida because of hurricane Milton and my boyfriend had some work to do in Atlanta so it all worked out. The staff was very welcoming, true southern hospitality. I was kind of disappointed there weren’t more stores or restaurants nearby. I like to have a variety of options to choose from. The valet was definitely more expensive than I’m used to, but I’m guessing it was the downtown area price. The hotel is beautiful, historic and very clean even though one of the elevators was down for renovations thankfully, I was on a lower floor so I could take the stairs and did as much as possible. The next time I’m in Georgia specifically Atlanta I will definitely be looking to book another stay at this hotel.

Easy and hospitable
Very conveniently located near the train at 5 Points Marta station in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Easy and short trek from the airport then just a few steps to the hotel. Hospital check in and concierge service. Need to update the antiquated payment card machine but other than that the staff at the front desk and eating area were top notch. I highly recommend.
