Hotel closed, being refurbished - ebookers didn't

Cons: Tell people if the hotel is closed!!

Arrived after transatlantic flight, tired etc. Collected car and followed sat nav to hotel location. Couldn't find hotel - turns out it's no longer a wingate by Wyndham which we booked, but is now a Hilton. Not only that, but it is closed and is being refurbished. No contact from Wyndham, Hilton or more importantly, from ebookers who we booked it with. Found another hotel near by but cost twice as much!!!
