I booked a room here for two nights. Going off the photos online I thought it would be alright. I got here and the environment just gave a lot off top. I get the room and I go look before I get my things. The first room was nasty and so was the second one. I was told after that them was the only two rooms left. And it was nothing he could do because the house keepers wasn’t there. So I went to the second room now I had to do my own thing to get the room together. So when I tell the people about the shower. He say oh it’s just stained and we can’t do anything about the black stuff in and around the shower. Now the bed was clean and soft. Other then that it was not a good experience for me.

The window in the room was partially opened and locked in that position we could not close it completely. We reported the issue to the front desk and they provided some type of key device that was of no help.

Says you need a $60 deposit but doesn't give a receipt taking the money or giving it back. Waiting on my deposit to hit back to my card which clerk says it could be 2-3 days.
Expedia site says pets stay free but there is a nightly fee. I told the front desk agent but he didn’t care. Also let him know I was evacuating for a hurricane but didn’t care about that either. He put me on the first floor near the entrance so my dog barked all night at the foot traffic. I asked if I could check out at noon instead of 11 while I figured out if roads were still closed from the storm, and if I might stay another night. front desk refused, again not caring about my situation at all. There’s really no lobby to wait in. I switched hotels after the first night. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was dirty. There are very few restaurants in the area and the grounds had trash laying around. If you are in need of a place to stay and you have nowhere else that would be the only reason to stay here.
When I initially booked the room, I was under the impression that I had paid in full. When I got there I was told that there was a 60 room fee for each room. Then I extended my stay for an additional day and was told to leave the room or pay an additional 40 per room to “check in early”. They are ripping people off! Can you imagine being homeless and only being able to fine funding one day at a time and being told to check out, put all of your belongings on the curb and wait from 11:00 to 3:00 to recheck in or pay an additional 40. They are uncaring and greedy establishment and I will NEVER stay here again! I would rather stay in my car at least I would have a peace of mind!
