They hadn’t cleaned the hallways, elevators and walls and ceilings in rooms in ages. Didn’t dare take my socks off. They allowed me to cancel rest of stay, but had to pay premium price at another Marriot when I had booked over a month ago. So that cost me about 500 extra dollars.

These are comfortable rooms. Not fancy but clean with a good price per value. In 10 minutes walking you are in Colony Square. Nice place for food and drinks. In 15 more minutes you are in Downtown Atlanta. Easy access to highways.

Had actually booked at a location about a 20 minute walk away. They very last minute (about an hour before check in) emailed me with no explanation other than “an error” and had to relocate me. Original location was a block away from the event I had planned for the time I was staying. Instead I had to walk about a half an hour with walking past crosswalks etc to get there.

We encountered no major problems. All rooms here are spacious mini-suites with kitchens and full fridges and microwaves. The included breakfast in the Hearth Room was good, too. Hotel staff were unfailingly polite.

I’m appalled at the type of customer service that was given to me today. I went to check out and the gentleman that was working the front desk seemed very bothered that I walked around the corner to ask if he worked there. He was sitting in a computer as well as his phone looking at god knows what. When I asked him if he worked there he turned around and said how can I help you in a very nasty tone. I said I need to check out. He then goes through a door and comes to the front desk and rudely asks what room number, so I told him the room number you’re all set and then flung the cards that I gave him the room key and he flung them all over the floor. The room itself was very disgusting. There was dead bugs on the floor. The pullout couch mattress was completely utterly dirty. The toaster was broken when we went to go take a shower in the morning. All we got was hot water as if somebody did something to our room. I will never and I repeat. I will never visit this hotel or this hotel chain ever again. I would like a full refund from my stay as well as a full refund for my valet as well as a full refund on the hundred dollars to have a pet stay with us. I would also like the hotel manager to call. I am not a very happy customer at this time.
