Stayed two nights in Aug. Harris House is in terrific location right off boardwalk and beach with lots of eating areas. The hotel is clean, rooms are clean, staff is friendly, pool is clean. This is a place where mgmt obviously cares about the customer experience. Will definitely return.

Hotel with a great location
Our family had a two night stay and upon arriving, the people at the front desk were friendly and surprised us by handing us beach tags for the seven of us. The hotel is perfectly located next to Jilly's arcade on the boardwalk and beach entrance is right there! We never used the car the entire time. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. We did not realize the pool closed at 9pm so our teens only swam 5 minutes before being told the pool was closed after doing the boardwalk thing all day. Nice heated pool though! We will be back again!

The Harris House is a great place to stay if you are visiting Ocean City NJ. My family and I went for a weekend. Everything is in walking distance the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. We didn’t have to drive the whole weekend. The hotel itself is every nice staff is friendly and the pool is nice too. We will be back!!!

Harris House was perfect for our girls trip. We were 2 minutes from the board walk. This was perfect for us because we are seniors with leg, hip and knee issues. This being said, there is no elevator and we had to walk up one flight of stairs to get to our room on the second floor. Regardless; the Room was clean, staff friendly amd response to any request was very prompt. We plan to go back, this time requesting a room on the ground floor.

We had a great stay at Harris House by the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was clean. The rooms were nice. It was kid friendly, right at the heart of the boardwalk and it had a pool. We’d absolutely stay again.

Location is very convenient...it is steps from the boardwalk and beach. There are some food options on the board walk close by. Room was clean and well stocked. Pool was clean and my kids really enjoyed swimming every day after the beach! The only negative i would say is that it didnt seem like they came to restock or empty the trash in the room but one time throughout our 5 day stay. Parking was tight the day we arrived which could have been because of the 4th of July holiday...parking spots are a bit small (we do have a big SUV). However we were always able to find a spot. We arrived an hour early to check in and our room was ready. We stayed a while after check out to get some breakfast and we were able to remain parked in the hotel lot for that time which was very accomodating. Overall we had a great experience at Harris House by the Beach! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The room was clean and updated. There was a bar fridge but no coffee. There was an early morning storm and the street was flooded, the parking lot is slightly raised so there was puddling but not flooding. The other guests were very noisy and rude!

We love staying at Harris House for our night in Ocean City each summer. It’s the most convenient location, a great pool, and so close to the beach and boardwalk! We’ll be back again for sure!
