Hotel is closed
Pulled up to the hotel, which we already paid for, and it was closed. No cars, lights on in the lobby, no one there, and closed signs on all the doors. Called hotels.com and they had no idea. Still waiting for a refund. And the hotel is still listed a available on here so how are they still letting people book at a hotel that has closed up?

The hotel was vacant upon arrival and there were 2 taped pieces of paper on the door saying closed. When you drive 3+ hours to arrive at a closed hotel, it is very infuriating!

Worst experience ever with expedia. left the property and was on the phone for over an hour just to be told that expedia was having trouble contacting the hotel. Whe they heck would they not contact me before I travelled to this destination?

Nasty and dangerous
Room was filthy and deplorable. When I went to plug in my cellphone, dead roaches were all over the socket. There was a recent roach infestation there. Water leaked from the ac inside and outside of the room. The door locks but still has a gap when you close it. I had to move the chair in front of the door to make sure no one could bust in on me. I was so nervous about the room that I checked in shortly before midnight and was out of there by daybreak. I could not sleep a wink there. Let’s not even begin to talk about the fact that there is not an elevator and the stairs are really steep. A complete death trap! I would have had a better stay at motel 6 for less.

Requested room close to elevators to re being handicap. GM stated room on first floor to be our assigned room as ELEVATOR OUT of ORDER!! Told us ICE MACHINE BROKEN! And pointed across the street to purchase wto purchase ICE a needed four times. ROOM had NO REFRIGERATOR ! PHONE & ALARM Clock broken.Plaster falling from bathroom ceiling. Chair in our room cushion coil appeared broken. I questioned the evening clerk re how long elevator had been out of order he stated “Months , and Months. Lobby sofa and chair’s covered with a type of contact paper. NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, COKE & SNACK Machines empty &out of order. ALL OF THE ABOVE NOTED on site for CLARION INN & SUITES UNIVERSITY CENTER AUBURN..1577 S College Street. VERY DISAPOiNTED !!!
