About this property

Updated 1825 Maine Farmhouse

Ideal location if you like privacy in a country feel location that is minutes from the highway & not far from everything Maine has to offer! Easy to get to, off a well maintained road. 10 min from in town Auburn, 40 min drive to Freeport, Brunswick or Portland. Close to Bates College, Lewiston Hospitals, Lost Valley Ski, Shopping, Beaches & hiking spots.

We are a very family and pet friendly home! Lots of books for adults and kids, a small game table, board games, and our outdoor fire pit has been a big hit in the appropriate weather. We also supply a couple sleds you can take with you to use, or there is a small hill out front we used to love! There is a swing set and trampoline out back to use when it’s warm, a hammock between the trees by the barn, and a grill with a table set up on the back deck. We also supply a dog run that’s attacked to our deck for your furry friends, dishes & poo bags. No weight limit on dogs, we love them all & hope you will watch after them as you would in your own home!

There is wi-fi for you to connect to upon arrival. There are smart TVs in the living room and game room on the first floor. We have a desk located in the game room for your work or coloring book needs! We also have 2 cameras located outside, for our safety as well as yours. They point to the driveway and the back yard. I keep the motion sensor on the driveway at all times, but I shut off the back yard sensor when guests are there.

Our kitchen is fully stocked. All the cooking equipment you should need. New fridge & stove, pots, pans, baking supplies, cutlery etc. even a crock pot and new Keurig coffee maker with fuel pot & pods. We offer a selection of coffee pots, tea, creamer & sugars. As well as condiment packets. There is cooking oil & spices in the pantry, and plenty of cups & dishes to eat with!

We would love to host you at our large & comfy home! Whether here for work, vacation, visiting family/ friends, or whatever brings you to the area!

Roomy farmhouse with large yard
The farmhouse was ideal for our stay. Roomy and even had games and books galore. Everyone enjoyed the unexpected massage chair and the property was large and good for the dog. Home was undergoing rennovation during our stay - but showed the potential and is porbably looking beautiful by now.

Lodging for a Family Wedding (nearby)
This 3-bedroom house worked very well for our family who had gathered for a family wedding. It was perfect for 6 adults. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. This place was a great find!

Wonderful stay
My family had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of space for us to cook together, play games, and enjoy some family time! The location is great with easy access to anything you may need. The house is well stocked with anything you may need and felt like home away from home. The host was very easy to communicate with.

Hockey Getaway
Went to Auburn for a hockey tournament. The rink was very close to the farmhouse. It was comfortable and convenient for us. Just our luck that it poured all weekend and was freezing for June! We could not enjoy the backyard!😢

Pleasant stay "like at home" in a beautiful property
Pleasant stay "like at home" in a beautiful property offering plenty of space, ingredients and equipment for the kitchen, indoor and outdoor games and there is even a massage chair (appreciated after long walks ). The garden is huge, but too bad we weren't able to enjoy it much because it had rained a lot and the grass was a bit high (the gardener mowed the day we left. Bad luck). Too bad also to hear a little noise from the highway (Maine Turnpike) which passes not very far, but nevertheless an address to strongly recommend for those who aspire to a comfortable and peaceful stay in the countryside!
