Would highly recommend Heartland Motel Auckland Airport. The staff are fantastic and friendly and really helpful. The on-duty manager changed our room to accomodate us as we were travelling with a toddler and didn’t want to be so close to the road. Nothing seemed to be an issue. We had the buffet breakfast which was fantastic value for money and again the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again when passing through Auckland.

Poor customer service. Even though it's an airport hotel, it has inflexible check-in and check-out hours (3pm and 10am). They don't even bother checking their computer to see whether it is possible --- their answer is simply "No." When we asked whether they can complete our check-in process first while we wait for our room, their answer is No. When we asked whether they can store our luggage while we wait for our room, their answer is also "No."
