The staff were friendly and professional, the rooms were clean, but the air conditioning unit was loud, the toilets were loud enough to wake the other up when flushed. The Auckland chlorination is so strong that the fan was not able to keep the place well ventilated. My recommendation is new quieter air conditioning units, new quieter toilets and a water filtration system for the building would make it a 5 star rating for me.

Overall we were happy with our stay at Imagine beach hotel. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were fairly new and modern with everything we needed. The location was good and walking distance to the main parts of the CBD. The only complaint we have was the outside noise was easily heard on level 4, including the hallway and roads.

On Expedia this hotel is stated to have a pool and a hot tub but when asked in person, we were told that they no longer have a pool or a hot tub which was the main reason I booked my stay here

Was upgraded to a partial ocean view room upon check in. Very nice, clean and large room with good room essentials. Everything seems new and workable apart from the heating however front desk clerk did his best to resolved the issue immediately; offered change of room and portable heater 👍 Walking distance to all tourists sites, harbour, supermarket and eateries. Would definitely stay here again if possible.

We were at Imagine Beach Road for one night after landing in Auckland from a cruise. We arrived way before check in time & were given early check in & an upgrade. Our room on the 14th floor facing the city was spacious, clean & so comfortable. You’re pretty centrally located in town for restaurants & shopping. All walkable. Our room was so quiet we slept very well. The bathroom is unbelievable! I wish I could hire the guy who did the tile work. Stunningly beautiful! The staff is warm, friendly & so helpful. Highly recommended.

Modern Value for Money!
A simple but clean and modern hotel near Spark arena and a short walk into town. Convenience of a supermarket over the road. Modern rooms. Black out curtains. Bathroom very basic but good value for money. Noise wise its very quiet except the very loud banging of room doors. Only improvement needed - better towels, they are awful, its like drying yourself with a teatowel. But otherwise really good value for modern, I would stay again. Staff were lovely.
