Great staff at the front desk who allowed us to check in hours early when we turned up wet through from the rain. Helpfully explained all benefits of staying at this property and were quick to sort out a flickering light late at night. We will definitely stay here again.

What a fantastic experience. Friendly and professional team, nothing was a problem. Haru the robot waiter was a cool encounter. Great, fresh and bright room full of what you need for a quick stay. Close to eateries and venues either side. Will come back again.

Absolutely no complaints! We arrived early after the long flight from Minnesota, and they let us check in early because the room was already ready. Off to a great start for our two weeks in New Zealand. Location is great for a relaxing walk around the viaducts, good restaurants (particularly enjoyed breakfast at Giraffe), a large park, playground for the kiddo. Might check out the maritime museum before we head out to explore the rest of the country via campervan. Service at M Social was fantastic!

Pros: Great location, spotlessly clean, everything you need facilities wise. Loved that there’s 24hr room service options. Cons: soundproofing is terrible -lying in bed I could hear the room on one side as they had loud conversations, and on the other side I could hear them whenever they used the bathroom. Didn’t feel very private as a result.

Loved our stay! A little far from the airport but an excellent location, room, and great view! Love the room service robot-would have loved if it was use every time😹! My only suggestion was wish the bathroom door was not glass-it’s artistic glass so not totally transparent but still slightly uncomfortable with that and the lack of audible exhaust fan. Great beds, excellent sleep and friendly staff, still worthy of a 5/5!

Staff and service here was excellent, especially Larina the duty manager. The rooms on the top floors are definitely worth paying extra foras they ensure a good nights sleep if you're a light sleeper.
