Close to the Boar Show and Trotting Club. Old and tired accommodation. Next door neighbors were rentals with loud music and not appealing to view. I could hear the next room in the bathroom.

Read the reviews before we booked but they were very misleading. The lady at reception was very lovely but … It was dated looking, safety chain was broken, window latch broken, rip in duvet cover, burn marks on floor, paint coming off cupboards and marks on walls. Cleanish but around plugs needed a good clean etc. Neighbours are long term motel accommodation and had horrendous fights both nights with swearing and screaming, drinking and loud music from early.

Staff were lovely. Not worth what we paid for it. The room was super hot on arrival. Room was not very clean at all, scuff marks all over the walls, dirty light switches, spa bath started out nice but then as soon as we turned it on the jets had some kind of weird dirty stuff come out of them. Left air con on but that seemed to make the fire alarm beep every 10 seconds. Bed was not a king sized bed. No way to keep bathroom cool, toilet was super hot as it had been closed the whole time and there was no window. Loved that we had a balcony.

location good for what we needed. wasn’t up to standards regarding cleaning. Old buildings. Bed was very hard. Room EXTREMELY hot when we arrived, maybe opening the space up & letting in fresh air before a quest arrives might be more appealing, especially in summer. Shower head old & not working properly.

The property itself was fine for my needs. What really spoilt my stay was a group of men who sat directly outside my window, loudly discussing the merits of various cars - using booming voices (yes, alcohol was probably involved) and a very limited vocabulary!
