Our stay at SkyCity Hotel was phenomenal! We arrived hours before our check-in, but luckily there was a room that was readily available that they were able to give us. We were able to leave our luggage with the concierge while we went to a breakfast spot across the street that they had recommended. Great location for shopping and food options. We didn’t rent a car, but a lot of places were within walking distance. Absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely stay again!

The position is excellent and Staff do look after there clients , the reception is a little messy at present but this is caused by the work being done . The whole area is unsafe , it is difficult to walk around the area , no Police and many Homeless, this part of Auckland needs to be cleaned up , so sad as I was born in Auckland and have spent most of my life here.

There was a lot of construction in the area so it was quite noisy from 7 am to 6 pm, even on Saturday. The hotel should have mentioned that fact. The hotel was clean and comfortable but a little outdated, housekeeping was not consistent. I found it overpriced for the amenities and service. But then it's a great location and will certainly be pleasant when all the construction is finished.
