The rooms are tired looking. We ordered room service and had to either pay extra for it to be bought to our room or go and get it ourselves?? On the second night, although it was a studio room, their was only a very small corner table and only one chair, so couldn't sit together and enjoy a coffee or food. Would not recommend

If you don’t have a car don’t stay here. Impossible to get cold water early in the morning, so had to forgo a shower on our departure date. Crumbs from takeaway pizza not vacuumed the following day
We chose to stay at The Parnell Hotel as it is only10min from Auckland Hospital were we needed to be early the next morning. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel the staff are lovely our room was lovely and we enjoyed dining at the onsite restaurant...Very relaxing
Great location, friendly staff, good size room, well appointed. Would def stay here again.

The on site restaurant was extremely noisy on our arrival with a very small amount of guests seemingly having a party in the garden with very loud music. We were hoping for a quiet evening due to flying very early the next day so we decided to eat off site.
The facilities although were adequate, felt a little tired. The bathroom was great and well equipped but the kitchenette in the apartment felt a little surgical and in need of modernisation.
Likes - very reasonable rates if booked early. Renovated bathroom, amazing night view, location is very convenient.
Dislikes - got a room with shared outside doorway, when the other room guest opened and closed their door, it creates air flow and shard out door as well plus it’s very noisy bring so close to each other.

Clean spacious room. In an old dated building but bathrooms have been done up and room size was generous. Our room was quite dark and didn't get much natural light as bottom story and lift tower out front of the door (room 11). Iron leaked moldy brown water onto my white jeans which was a bummer. Not a fan of communal size toiletries, unhygienic and should provide miniatures instead - it's cheap of accommodations to do this. Handy location close to CBD
