This spacious home is in the heart of wine country. Take some time with your friends, family or partner to unwind and put your worries behind you. This home offers enough room for 12 people to comfortably stay while also creating an intimate ambiance if you wish to enjoy a romantic weekend in wine country.

The space:
The property is a large home with a gorgeous view right off the front yard and back deck. Each bedroom offers a king sized bed for a comfortable stay for every guest.

The large main level living room with fireplace creates a cozy and elegant environment during your stay. The dining room features a custom made table that is perfect for entertaining and making memories around. The large main level kitchen is equipped with all the stuff one needs to create delicious meals during your stay.

The lower level hosts a spacious living room along with a dining area and a kitchenette. This is allows guests staying in the lower level bedrooms to enjoy their own coffee and cereal bar and any late night snacks. The deck on this level leads out to the 6 person hot tub and some amazing views!

Feeling up for a stroll on the Katy trail? Great! We are located just 1 minute (by bike) from the Augusta Trail Head- And did we mention you and your guests are welcome to the bikes we have provided!

House Rules:
NO events or parties. If you are looking to throw a party with a large group of friends or family this is not the place for you.
No smoking(of any substances), in or around the house. This includes the back decks.
Our cleaning fee covers standard turnovers- any additional messes, stains or large amounts of excess trash will be deducted from the security deposit.

Weekend away to ski
We booked this for a weekend with friends to ski at Hidden Valley. We would definitely stay here again. It was spacious, clean and nicely furnished. We loved that everyone had large king size beds. It took us about 45 minutes to get to our ski location, but the area had a nice pizza place and a small coffee shop. We really enjoyed this trip!

Our group of moms have come to this house that last two years to relax in the quiet after the holiday craziness! Plenty of places to sleep at night, and lounge during the day with our food and books. The hot tub is such a fun addition on a cold winter day! We will be back next year!

Very nice house, but nothing around
We needed a place to stay for our son’s Army graduation. We wanted a place for celebrating him and my birthday. We had no idea everything was closed this time of year. We picked it for the wineries and breweries noted in description (walking distance/close by). They were not open (only on weekends and we were there M-Th). We had to drive 30min to get food/anything. It was a ghost town. Very disappointing and misleading. They need to note this on the listing. The house was VERY nice and comfortable though. They have everything you could possible need. Everything felt clean (with the exception of our hand towel in master bath…not clean/toothpaste on it still. Hair was in the shower as well). The place was super cute for Christmas and you can tell they put some love into this rental.

Perfect location for our family . . .
We had a family wedding in Defiance and this was the perfect location to overnight and minimize our drive time! Super comfortable with PLENTY of space! Everyone had their own bathroom space to get ready and we enjoyed the shared family spaces very much!

Beautiful view
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The screen porch was our favorite place. Anytime we were home we were on the porch talking and enjoying the view. The beds were very comfortable and it was so quiet! It was so easy to get to many wineries and to the Miss Augusta boat dock.

Comfort for All
When you open the door, you feel like you’ve entered an HGTV home. Beautifully decorated as well as comfortable. There was plenty of room for our 4 adult families to have spaces of their own plus rooms to gather! My favorite was the screen porch off the kitchen where we enjoyed morning coffee. I was surprise how close the house was located to the wineries! Wish we had more time to bike ride & explore the trails!

This was a beautiful house in Augusta. Probably wouldn’t book again since there’s not much to do in Augusta and we booked this house specifically for the hot tub which wasn’t working! Would recommend staying in nearby Washington which has much more to do!

Awesome House for a Big Group
My two friends and I wanted a place that our 8 kids could hang out and have fun and we could relax and enjoy some great conversation. This house fit the bill! There were even bikes in teh garage that the kids loved using. It took them about 20 minutes to find the elementary school basketball hoop and the basement was a perfect place for them to relax and have fun while us moms enjoyed the quiet upstairs. My only comment is that the fireplace did not work so that was a bummer. It was cold in the house so next time we will bring blankets. The hot tub was awesome!

Girls Weekend!
It's my goal every year to find the perfect house for a group of ladies to enjoy food, drinks, conversation and a birthday! I hit the jackpot with this ine for sure! The pictures are great but you have to see it to believe it! We had 9 staying but could have easily fit more comfortably. The fireplace was perfect to enjoy time chatting in the living room, the hot tub was big enough for all to hop in and the sleeping arrangements were spectacular! We will be staying here again because when you find the perfect spot you don't look any further! Thank you Justin for sharing your home with us and for being so quick to respond to all of my questions!

Great home for family gatherings
We rented this home for a family Christmas visit, the location was convenient and the home was the right size for our group of adults and adult-sized teens. The living areas upstairs and downstairs are generously sized, and that provided peaceful spaces for the early risers and night owls. Beautifully decorated and furnished home, nice view to the back and side. Home right across the street is a bit run down; this didn't bother us, it was just incongruent with others in the area. Kitchen was well equipped, we appreciated the Christmas decorations and hot chocolate bar. Generous coffee and hot tea options. Beds were very comfy. Easy access to the Katy trail. My only suggestion would be to bring your own beach towels for the hot tub if you plan to use it, otherwise you will cut into your bath towel options. I would love to revisit in warmer weather, there are wineries and cute shops within walking distance.

The house was beautiful and well maintained. Lots of room to spread out. Property owner had great communication. The check out procedures were the easiest I have ever seen from a VRBO rental - that was very much appreciated. Don’t hesitate to rent this property!!

Ideal Location for a Winery Visit
We selected this charming house as the backdrop for a special celebration: my mother-in-law's 70th birthday, complete with visits to the nearby wineries. The location turned out to be perfect for us, with Augusta and Mt. Pleasant just a pleasant stroll away (though some of our older family members opted for a ride, given the hilly terrain). Our evenings were spent by the outdoor fire pit, and we were grateful for the provided stack of firewood. Inside, the house was impeccably clean, and the beds offered a comfortable night's rest. It was the tasteful decor and modern updates that initially captured our attention when selecting this place – we couldn't find anything else in the area that compared. While we did pay a premium for our two-night stay, our expectations were understandably high. Although there were a few minor disappointments, they didn't significantly impact our weekend. These included overgrown weeds in the front yard as tall as me, a dirty outdoor patio, a pantry door off its track, an inoperable garage door, and some signs of wear on the entryway walls from previous guests.

Ample space and location for a bunch of friends to gather
There are several of us who like to gather together twice a year to celebrate our friendship. The property was perfect! Five bedrooms all with king beds makes it perfect for all 10 of us to fit comfortably. One person slept on the couch downstairs only because she felt too warm in one of the downstairs bedrooms. And she said the couch was very comfy. Three bedrooms on the main level was a godsend because we have some who aren’t so good with stairs these days. The inside of the house was very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. The bedding and mattresses were very comfortable. The nights were cool enough for a nice fire in the fire pit and there was plenty of firewood! The views from the property are amazing. Out back the view is a densely forested slope. You can only see woods from the decks. Very very private. The front and side view is overlooking a valley. You can see for miles! The lawn is kept cut but the landscaping could use some tending. As could the screened in main level deck, which was a bit rough. But overall, we would definitely return. The town of Augusta is a quaint little town with some great offerings from an excellent brewery to many excellent wineries. Little shops are dotted around the central area of town. Lots to offer. You will love staying at this property. Do it!!
