This beautifully decorated 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment is located at the top of the wine castle at Villa del Sol. The suite has what you want in a romantic, cozy, private getaway for a long weekend or weeks at a time. Relax and toast another day while watching our Texas sun set over the hill country! Part of an Italian style estate, separated from the main house with private entry, the apartment suite is decorated with unique accessories, colorful art and best of all, incredible views of the sunset, hill country and main basin of Lake Travis. Only 19 minutes to Downtown Austin and 1 minute to mouth watering margaritas at The OASIS! The best bedroom view on the lake! Approximately 15 steep brick steps up to the front door.
Owner allows one small to medium size dog. Property has a very small grass area for dogs. Road the property is on is very curvy, not ample for walking.
During your stay at this apartment building, you're just a quick walk from Colorado River. Enjoy features like a water park. The apartment includes amenities such as a kitchen and a balcony.

Magical place!
This apartment is exactly as described. Private and peaceful setting. The views are breathtaking. The bed was very comfortable with a lot of bedding and pillow. options. Communication with Elise was great. Kitchen was stocked well for cooking. Our AC stop working but they fixed it almost immediately! We will definitely be back!

The perfect vacation destination!
My wife and I recently stayed at Villa del Sol for a Formula 1 race weekend. When arrived on site we were welcomed by Beau, the owner, designer, and builder of what can only be described as a modern day castle. He walked us up and gave us a tour of the property with the most breath taking lake and cityscape views.Villa del Sol is also pet friendly so we brought the pups as well! They provide a small grassy area with plenty of nearby paths and parks for the dogs. Elise (Beau’s niece) who runs the property was also in contact with us regularly making sure we had everything we needed, including a welcoming bottle of champagne and all sorts of treats. The property is right on Lake Travis and is only 25 minutes from downtown Austin, we loved it so much we even stayed an extra day, which they were very accommodating. Needless to say we didn’t want to leave and would highly recommend staying here! We will certainly be back! Thank you again for a wonderful unforgettable vacation and stay!

Castle on Lake Travis
My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this property. The castle is situated perfectly on Lake Travis. The view from the top tower is incredible! And it is right next to Oasis Restaurant if you need a quick bite. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic view. We also loved the interior design and decor, including the carpet which had been updated since the listing photos.The internet was temporarily not working during our stay, but we enjoyed our vacation from the internet. We plan to return to this unit again. One thing to note is this unit does not have a dishwasher. That was not a problem for me since I brought mine from home (the little lady, lol).

Romantic Eclipse Escape
This place was a great escape to view the eclipse! It had an amazing view of Lake Travis. Not too far (and not too close) from Austin TX. Two things I did not care for were: 1) The listing did list satellite TV but there the only option was Prime Video. 2) None of the windows opened. It was very nice outside but we still had to run the AC inside!

A nice stay with a great view
If you are familiar with the view from The Oasis restaurant and love the sunsets, imagine seeing them every day! The apartment is next door to the Oasis, but not so close that the noise is a problem. Unfortunately, the water level at Lake Travis was low during our stay. But the view and the sunsets were still great. The apartment was good and Elise was great to work with. We'll probably choose the middle apartment for our next stay as the stairs were a bit much for our older legs. We loved it and we'll be back,

This Can’t Be Texas
From the scenic rolling hills to the opened gate as we drove in and immediately overlooked lake Travis and saw our “castle” for the weekend, we were in awe and felt worlds away from Texas. It was truly breathtaking. We arrived just before sunset, with the sun glistening on the lake and had full view of the lake, surrounding hills from our private balcony. Could not have asked for a more picturesque hidden gem. What a relaxing, birthday weekend! Elise our host provided a surprise welcome basket of goodies and wine which was an added touch and a lovely welcome. It appears as though the “castle” is getting some updating, can’t wait to go back and see what changes were made. Highly recommend this host and property!!!!!!!! We didn’t want to leave

Breath Taking View
Such a fun different property. Set high with a breathtaking view of Lake Travis. It is a little castle, a fun property that has the feel of castle, but the bed is so comfy. Elise, property manager kept the lines of communication open and took care of all our needs. This was our second stay on the property and we will repeat🙃😊
