NEWLY RENOVATED!
This stunning, rustic lake house is part of the June Farms properties, located just 5 minutes away from our beautiful farm.
This is the family lake house of June Farms owner, Matt Baumgartner. It sits perched on top of the property with a spectacular view of the lake.
When you stay in The June Farms Lake House, you are treated like farm guests. You will have access to the farm (without needing to pay admission) and will have a private concierge to assist you throughout your visit.
This property has Restoration Hardware furniture, king beds in 2 rooms and a bunk bed in the 3rd room, an open floor plan, wood burning stove and screened in porch. It is close proximity to Albany, Troy and many ski resorts. Stand up paddle boards and 2 kayaks are yours to use while you are visiting the property to enjoy the beautiful lake. We are certain you will fall in love with this beautiful, spring-fed lake, and June Farms, during your visit!
We look forward to meeting you!
Other than being available for any questions you may have, we typically do not need to meet any of our guests on premise. All of the check in details are given ahead of time, and it is a self check-in. We have a team of people on our hospitality team who are always available to help you with any questions you may have.
Located right down the road from June Farms, Kay's Pizza, La Perla Restaurant, Chez Mike, The Town Tavern and other fine restaurants. Also about 20 minutes from downtown Albany and Troy, NY. 30 minutes from Hudson, NY.
When staying at the lakehouse, you will be able to use the entire home, swim in the lake, and use our paddle boards and kayaks. You are NOT allowed to use the pontoon motor boat. We DO offer pontoon boat rides, and that can be arranged through our concierge ahead of your visit!
The space is very rustic and has been the family lake house for years. We love it. Our neighbors are wonderful people, and the lake is beautiful. We are not a family that likes window treatments, so the windows are open. Trees block the views of the neighbors, but if you are someone who needs total privacy with window shades or curtains, this is not the house for you.
We have had many guests over the year off AirBNB and people are very happy and relaxed at the lakehouse. It has wonderful energy :)
The lake house is very communal and charming. A wonderful space for making memories.
If you are planning on taking Amtrak, we are 15 minutes away from the Albany-Rensselaer stop.
You are able to get an Uber/Lyft at the train station or at the lake house throughout your stay.
If you are planning on renting out the cabin in the winter, please note that the cabin is primarily heated by the wood-burning stove. All rooms of the cabin have electric baseboard heat, but when you stay here it will help to keep the fire going in order to stay toasty warm (wood provided :) .
*This lakehouse also has an upstairs, seasonal attic that has 3 king beds also. We do not recommend staying there in the winter or in the very hot summer months, but it is a beautiful option for you to stay in while you are there!
Please note: due to high demand there are no refunds on cancellations if you book directly with us.
