Service CRC was extremely slow in the restaraunt. Over an hour wait for breakfast. Dinner was disappointing especially the fish cakes and beans, fish cakes were mostly potato and $21 for about $3 of food and as a shock cl. Rooms are comfortable but dated. However, the property and hospitality were exceptional and I would probably stay there again, but not eat there

Clean, a bit run down, good for one night stop. The view from room was nice, but huge spiders on the patio railing kept me in the room. Check in/out fast and professional.

Nice property. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was delicious. Pool was clean. Rooms were well used and dated but it did not affect our stay. We had a great stay. Recommended for short stays. This was our last stay driving around the Cabot Trail.

Happy to have had an opportunity to stay in a room with more direct view of water. Thank you Marlene! Loved the view of the water & also the chairs on the deck outside our room where we could sit outside. A great feature! Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant with good food & excellent service. The ‘poor boy’ dessert was delicious and after our drive along the Cabot Trail, it was great to relax and not have to drive to a restaurant. Room was comfortable and we slept well. Great assortment of pillows in fact the best of our trip to Nova Scotia so far!

This motel offers a beautiful view of the lake. I am guessing the motel is a few decades old and it feels like you are stepping back to the 1970s or 80s when you enter your room. This hotel is well-maintained.

Great views but dated motel
Let me start with positives. Great location if visiting Cabot trail. Makes for a good base. Also fantastic views of the water front and exceptional and friendly réception and service. Now to the negatives. Room is very dated. Musty smell, carpet is dirty. Water spills to bathroom during shower creating a puddle near toilet seat area. Shower curtain was dirty and doesn’t seem to have been changed in forever. Same with the furniture, lamps, blankets, AC etc. The rooms need a full overhaul. The room was as basic as it gets. Wouldn't recommend.

Great location, Friendly staff. Rooms were clean. Restaurant was amazing with view of the water Food was nothing but delicious. Staff were so very friendly. Highly recommended. Right on the highway with beautiful view.
