This spectacular beachfront hacienda is just what you and your family and friends are looking for during your Costa Rican vacation. There is so much space, so many awesome amenities, and so many things to do that you'll never want to leave! First thing, throw down your bags, crack open a frosty beverage, and stretch out in the enormous open-concept living space. You'll love the natural worked-wood supporting beams, the spiral staircase corkscrewing up into the second level, the beautiful floors, and the flood of natural light cascading through huge windows.

The beautiful kitchen is equipped with everything your family chefs need to turn today's catch into a veritable feast. Enjoy it out on the expansive lanai with cold drinks and lively conversation then drift off to sleep in the super-comfortable hammock. When you're not down at the beach (just steps away), cool down in the private outdoor pool while catching up with a great novel out on the balcony.

What's nearby:
Spend your afternoon admiring the ocean, or take a surfboard out to catch some waves. Feeling a little rusty? Head over to Surf Lessons Tour, just five miles away, to get some solid instruction on riding stance, balance control, and wave-catching from knowledgeable and friendly instructors. If you'd prefer to get a little farther out on the water, check out Dolphin Tours to book a trip along the shore to find dolphins and whales. You can also see moray eels and white tip reef sharks when you go under for a bit of snorkeling! Maybe you'd like to get in some inland nature? No problem; Baru Waterfalls Tours is only 19 miles away and offers trips to see a three-tiered waterfall tucked away in a South Pacific jungle. You might even be visited by the occasional Toucan while dining out at the seasonal open-air restaurant.

The property has direct access to the beach that is part of the National Park!
Walking distance to a short hike at Playa Arco.
The beach changes a lot during high tide, you can enjoy the beach at low tide.

Really Cool Property, Needs Better Maintenance
The location is great, just be sure you have a 4x4. The view of the beach and island off shore is just plain gorgeous. The house itself has a total Swiss Family Robinson vibe. It is VERY cool. That being said, the pool was an absolute swamp. You could not see your waist if you stood in the pool. I wouldn't personally go in it. We had no running water for the first 24 hours. The caretaker is very very nice, I am not faulting him or trying to be rude. The house just needs maintenance, there are missing window panes with no screens so bugs are EVERYWHERE. Including one of the beds and the downstairs shower had more bugs in it that the back patio did outside. I know this is a 'Glamping' experience however, Glamping generally includes running hot and cold water and screens. Also, there is no way to lock the house at all. When you leave there is a string that loops around a nail to hold the door closed. I would not feel comfortable leaving anything valuable (passports/cash/electronics/etc) in the house if I were to be gone for a full day which posed a pretty big issue for us. The fridge did not work properly, things went in cold and came out warm (the freezer part seemed to work fine). All in all, this is a beautiful location and the views are unbeatable. There is lots of wildlife, we had a very close encounter with some howler monkeys and that was incredible. If you can afford it, I would rent this place to chill during low tides and some day time fun and have a second place to keep your things and sleep/shower.
