The front staff was very nice but this is the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It looked like dried pet vomit in the hallways and hand smears on the head boards for example. Also there was a car on blocks in the parking lot so made me concern for the safety of my car.

Nice family getaway in the Baltimore area!
We had a very nice 2 night stay here with our family! The breakfast was great. Everyone was comfortable and the beds were comfy too. Only thing that could be updated was the bathtub. It looked a little worn and the toiletry dispensers needed to be cleaned better. There was visible soap and a hair from the last person who stayed there. The overall size and amenities in the room and on the grounds were fantastic and very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again!

Housekeeping stole my suit jacket
I thought my wife had packed up the room while I went to get the rental car, I did a once-over when we were leaving in a hurry, and missed my suit jacket hanging obviously in the closet. When I realized the next day when I went to go wear it, I called SonestaES and they assured me housekeeping is very thorough and would have seen a jacket hanging in the closet. So I asked if any had been turned in and they said none had.

Toilet at the property was not working. I had checked in at 10 pm and when I called front desk to check the toilet they came with a plunger. I told them there is no water coming into tank. The clerk tried to fix the issue but was not able to and told me maintenance guy was gone for night. They did not have another room to transfer me in that night and Nor did they offer any compensation for inconvenience.

When we went to our 2 bedroom suite with my 2 year old, my daughter and my niece, we found 3 used condoms and wrappers laying around. 2 were in the let out bed when you flipped it open and one laying in the floor next to the table in the bedroom. Accessible to my son to pick up and put in his mouth!!! The bed cover was filthy with stains everywhere. I had to call down and get new bed covers and sheets and blanket for the let out couch. The leather couch looked like had not been wiped down, the room had a strong odor of dog. Not to mention the door outside leading to the elevator stayed cocked open the entire time of our 3 day 2 night stay. So we didn't feel safe at all. I will not be returning.

Broken fire alarm
The fire alarm went off, after the fire department said it was safe the alarm kept going off for HOURS. No offering to change rooms to a different building/part of the property that wasn't affected by the malfunction. No offer of refunds or anything. The staff just told us that it was safe to return to our rooms, but the alarm wouldn't be going off for a while. The room itself otherwise was clean, and comfortable.

I Called the hotel from Miami on a layover. I asked I could get a ride from the airport (as the website offers) The person who answered said yes. I got to BWI close to midnight, as scheduled. Called Sonesta. The person who answered gave me directions to the shuttle stop. I waited 30 minutes and it never arrived. Called the hotel and the person at the front desk said that the shuttle ran until 11:00 pm. … Not happy at all

This once proud property is run down and tired. The fixtures falling apart, carpet torn and tattered. The worst was the plumbing! The bathroom sink was clogged and leaking. After cleaning it up and telling the front desk - nothing was done to fix the situation! Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!
