Amazing front desk staff, repairs needed
We booked a room on hotels.com that was not available at this location. Chris at the front desk helped us change our reservation to a room with proper accommodations. Chris was amazingly helpful. Offered tips about local travel and showed us how to access the free city bus. Our room was only cleaned once during our stay. Maintenance worked on our room and left the door open. The front desk was made aware and apologized and assured me they would address the issue. The bathroom had several issues that need repaired. The restaurant was closed for renovations. A continental breakfast was offered. The location was awesome. The architecture of the building is cool. Front desk staff greeted us each time we entered the building.

My wife and I stayed at the Sonesta for a local concert at the CFG arena. The location was perfect since it was only a short walk away. When we arrived, we were greeted by the vallet staff who were very nice and helped us right away. Once inside, Chris at the front desk was amazing!!!! We loved his energy. The check in process was seamless and one of the quickest check in’s I’ve experienced when traveling. Chris was very informative and provided wonderful customer service. The room was very clean and cozy, no issues or complaints. I believe the hotel is being renovated so the ice machines weren’t working on every floor which wasn’t a big deal at all. Also, breakfast is continental with things like coffee and donuts but there are lots of food options near by. The Sonesta is also a short walk to the Inner Harbor as well. When leaving, vallet was quick but it will help minimize your wait time by planning to order your car ahead. All in all, we had a great stay and appreciate the hotel being LGBTQ friendly. I would absolutely stay here again. 10/10
