I think checking in at another hotel was inconvenient. I also smelled weed. So I felt the people staying here were here to party. We checked in at night . The room is clean and is nice.

Great location not too far from town with a bus stop nearby and plenty of parking if you have a car. It was extremely clean and comfortable, best of all is was value for money.

Mobile check in did not work so we had to first stop at the Canoe Hotel to check in which wasn’t super convenient. Other than that, very happy with the staff and the room. It is at the far end of the road in Banff so good amount of walking- unless you catch the bus which we didn’t do because of the timing.

This is a great property, a small Motel without any reception or lobby, so you have to check in at the Caribou hotel nearby. You get the perks provided by the hotel, such as pool, hot tub access. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and it’s comfortable. It’s on the north end of town which is a bit of a trek to downtown, but still walkable. The hotel does provide free bus tickets for the duration of your stay. Nice Motel overall.

The staff at the front desk of the Caribou were very accommodating and helpful when we called for assistance. We had a very enjoyable stay and really liked the Dorothy Motel venue, the amply free parking around there and the convenient and delicious dining places nearby.

Hotel is self check in but works out ok. Good parking under room, plus a garage shop and nice restaurant (Sudden Sally) nearby. Room was comfortable and had everything needed for short stay. Hotel is walkable from Banff centre with public bus option.

Excellent stay! The Dorothy is affiliated with the Caribou Hotel. We were able to check-in quickly efficiently. The rooms are lovely. The bed is comfortable, and it is quiet. We were provided bus passes for the duration of our trip, which made getting around Banff easy. We were able to do laundry at the Caribou for 6 Canadian dollars. We would gladly stay here again. We loved it!

Auto-Checkin Hotel was Better Than Expected
The room was great--really liked the bed comfort, bathroom w/ floor radiant heat, and under bed lighting! The only negative was the room didn't have blackout curtains--a bit too much light for great sleep.
