Conceptually it's a great place. Nice building and location is close to so many restaurants and shopping, kind of in the Japanese neighbourhood of Bangkok. However the service and overall vibe of the place is lacking. maybe they are trying to do too much and it's all mediocre. A lot of staff but they lack skills and training. Very much below Bangkok standards for service and food. The food is at best just ok. Good concept but poor implementation. With all of this in mind I would not recommend. It's not good value for money and not a five star experience.

Redefining 5-Star, best views of any hotel I’ve ever been to! Unobstructed 360 degree views from the rooftop with a rooftop pool and jacuzzi! Best views in all of Bangkok, almost seems like you’re living a dream! Hotel has fantastic breakfast menu that goes into lunch hours from 7am-5pm everyday, well worth it to choose the breakfast option. Thai restaurant in the hotel is phenomenal! Service and hotel staff are extremely polite and helpful, feels like family! Hotel has hourly shuttle service to and from the mall which is a must visit only a few minutes away. Hotel is located near every attraction you’ll want to see in Bangkok. Hotel rooms are very new and clean. Bose speakers and are built in the room and bathroom. Bathroom is very large, toilet is privately separated in a closed room within the bathroom. Very boujie and designer feel to the room and every area of the hotel! The most instagrammable hotel in all of Bangkok, can’t wait to come back!

The size of our S. suite is huge with big balcony like living in the villa. Very relaxing. The facilities and two swimming pools are awesome. We like the breakfast arrangement with variety of choices and flexible time schedules. The view of the rooftop swimming pool is spectacular.

Honeymoon Bliss
We stayed in the Sukhothai Suite for 2 nights for our honeymoon, and it was such a pleasant stay, we just wanted to stay in the hotel the whole time! One of the biggest reasons I wanted to stay here was the rooftop pool, and it is just as majestic in person! Same with the room pictures, which was a relief! Heads up, suite guests have access to that rooftop pool + the 27th floor bar/pool. Guests who stay at the residence rooms only have access to the 27th floor bar/pool. During our stay at 137 Pillars Suites, we took advantage of/checked out the following - complementary happy hour drinks on 27th floor, shuttle to and from EmQuartier, butler service, herb garden, and both pools. Shortly after I booked, I mentioned to the staff that it was my honeymoon, and they were all so sweet in commemorating it, they left several wonderful surprises in the room, it was so sweet and made the stay even more memorable! I've been to a number of high-end, luxury hotels in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and I have to say-- this one has been one of the most worth the money hotels, and it is definitely in my top 3.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Very difficult to not fall in love with it. Ron, the assistant manager, greeted me very warmly upon my arrival and showed me around. I stayed in a suite on a 25th floor. Absolutely beautiful! If that’s not enough, there is a Spectacular view from the rooftop pool, and a happy hour on the 26th floor. Breakfast is on the same floor as a happy hour, with hours between 7 am and 5 pm. Many a la carte options, with a few buffet options till 11 am as well.

Second stay at 137 Pillars, this time we tried the Suites which give access to the amazing infinity pool at the rooftop. When we visited during sunset, we were treated with some stunning views of the city. All the staff were very nice and always able to help with all our needs. Will be back again.
