Great location, direct connection to the BTS. Lobby has been renovated but rooms are still looking old. Mattress was too old and not so comfortable. It should be replaced.

A Clean and Secure Hotel with Convenient BTS Access, but Beware of Taxi Scams I recently stayed at Asia Hotel Bangkok and overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel is clean and secure, which is a top priority for us when traveling. One of the best features is the direct access to the BTS Skytrain from the hotel, making it very convenient to explore Bangkok. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but well-maintained. The breakfast offered was excellent, with a variety of options that exceeded our expectations. In terms of value for money, it’s definitely a good deal. The staff were very courteous and attentive, which added to the overall experience. However, the only issue with the room was that the bathtub drain was partially clogged. While the stay was mostly pleasant, we did encounter one major issue when it came to leaving for the airport. We ordered a taxi through the Bolt app, with an expected fare of around 300 THB. However, the hotel’s porter insisted on “helping” us and asked us to wait under the porch. We later realized that he intercepted our Bolt taxi and canceled our booking without informing us, instead arranging for a more expensive taxi (likely one he had a deal with). Our original Bolt taxi passed by without stopping, and we ended up being approached by this new taxi, which initially asked for 500 THB. We negotiated it down to 300 THB, including tolls, but during the ride, the driver tried to charge us an additional 25 THB for the highway toll, which we re

I had a great stay overall and would stay again. The only thing that let the property down was the shower button kept breaking. The repairman did fix it but it happened again several times resulting me having to take quick showers as I had to keep my foot on the button to keep the water running.

Poor check-in
Check in experience was very bad. At first couldn't provide large bed in premium room although this was requested. Had to made it very clear I wasn't happy. Didn't help when colleague started to laugh as she thought it was funny. They found a room with a large bed relatively quickly but it's always a problem EVERY TIME I check-in over the last 20 months. I've booked another hotel in Bangkok for my next visit in November.

Good experience and convenient location.
Clean and comfortable. Old hotel with some restorative work done. Ultimately, it's strength is in its connecting pathway to the train station directly - that is a blessing for wet weather. Location is near the big must-go (MBK, paragon). Walking or taking trains are very convenient options

I absolutely loved the location of this hotel! It’s directly connected to the MRT station in the City Centre, making it incredibly convenient to get around. You’re just a short walk from the MBK Mall and surrounded by endless food options. I highly recommend this place to everyone, especially since it’s just a quick train ride away from many street food markets and popular malls. Ideal for anyone looking to explore the city with ease!

The location is perfect- being able to jump on the BTS is great & a 5 minute walk to MBK. Breakfasts were good too. The only negatives were not being able to adjust the air conditioning, the super narrow shampoo/shower gel containers (no conditioner)& no power outlet in the bathroom. I recommend bringing a double adapter or powerboard as there is only a single power outlet by the bed for the lamp so if you want to charge any devices overnight you’ll need a 2nd outlet. I’d definitely stay here again.
