Basic hotel near airport for quick overnight
This is a newish very basic hotel that is already showing signs of wear. The towels and toiletries are very low quality. It takes about 20 - 25 minutes to get to the airport. There is nothing around the hotel except for 7/11. Just ok for a quick airport overnight. As 2 female travelers it did feel safe. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is freeway very close and the rooms are not very sound proof. It wasn't too much of a bother.

This is a cool place if you are stopping over for less than three days. Some of the staff was not nice. They did not greet you like most hotels or Thai in general. The rooms were very clean.

This is the second time i have stayed at The Journey Hotel, the facilities are good as well as the rooms, there is also a 7-11 shop out the front to the side that is convenient.

Very clean hotel and housekeeping does an excellent job. Mega Bangna mall is a 10 minute drive by taxi or Bolt. Not much near the hotel except for a 7-Eleven next door.

Wifi doesn’t work properly. Had to rely on data. Rooms are really good value for money and housekeeping is good too. Reception staff don’t speak English well so hard to communicate but they were helpful. Area is ok for layover from BKK airport but not for tourists. Mega Bangna Mall is close though.

The hotel was wonderful and the staff were so helpful and magnificent!! Pang and Pim were truly helpful and were always ready to help! my only issue was the location, Bang Na is not a tourist area, so despites how budget friendly this hotel is, to get to downtown Bangkok it was about 500 bahts which is about 16 dollars and these prices add up quickly for round trips(sometimes the drivers will try to scam you and turn off the gps, don't let them do it). If you are staying there utilize the grab app, it is there version of Uber and there is a set price. Overall the hotel is clean, the people are friendly and it is extremely quit. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Journey Hotel and I am so thankful to all the staffs!

This was a fine choice as an inexpensive airport hotel. BKK was 25 mins away by Grab. There was a 7-11 literally steps away from the front door so we got dinner there one night since there really isn’t restaurant life in the vicinity. The front desk staff were efficient but not friendly, but we didn’t really need them to be. There’s a cafe on the lobby floor but it was not cheap. If you’re looking for a place to just sleep when going back to your country, this option worked well.
