Good stay overall
Overall the stay was good and the hotel is very nice and modern. There were a couple of things that let it down slightly - Firstly - the breakfast was not great, in fact it was quite disappointing especially in comparison to other 5* hotels in Bangkok. Secondly - we arrived early after a night flight and were told our room was ready, then told if we wanted it we had to pay early check in fees- which was unusual. We managed to talk to the manager but it was very inconvenient. Thirdly, there was no bars open past 10 so not what you’d expect. The staff were very friendly and helpful though and the drinks at the pool were lovely, as was the room.

Trendy hotel in Bangkok
Great hotel located in the tallest tower of Bangkok! It has great quality food restaurants and an amazing gym. Guests get a free ticket to the 78th floor of the tower to enjoy the Air Bar and the city view.

Great place to stay and the suite we had was brilliant for us with our toddler. Amazing gym facilities! Only thing missing from room was an iron and board but I’m sure you could ask for it. Lovely treats left out each day by the hotel. The club lounge access was nice too simple but just what we wanted.

Celebrating 40th birthday at the Standard
What a wonderful hotel at this beautifully designed hotel in the hear my of Bangkok! We had a great stay for a 40th birthday. Albert from guest services made my stay. He drew a really amazing picture of my dog, who he welcomed with love. He looked after my every need. He put birthday balloons in the room. I was very heartened by all the little touches that made this a very special stay.
