Much construction going on around it-has been for two years. No frills. Asked about an adapter for US and was laughed at. Asked about outgoing mail-no way. Asked for creamer for coffee? NO. Adequate but not convenient due to construction. Very near Market so good of that is your goal. Otherwise, there are similar priced hotels with more to offer. Really couldn’t believe they had no adapters. You must deal with Americans. And we had one, it just wasn’t working properly.

Staff were nice & helpful. Room was clean & quiet even though it’s on La Rambla street The location is within walking distance to many attractions, shops, restaurants. But the hotel can’t help you with transportation (to airport or cruise port…) you have to pull your luggage across La Rambla street or even all the way down to the end of the street to catch a taxi. There was a musical festival when we were leaving; the streets around there were blocked off, taxis were not allowed to drive through we had to pull our luggage quite far which was not easy

Excellent location and the hotel had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and it was great that we were allowed an early check-in. The security was very good, we felt safe, and it was also very quiet for such a busy central location.
