The location is great. The hotel is very clean but basic and needs updating. The room safe was at floor level in the wardrobe which made it almost impossible to access. There were no drawers or shelves in the bedside tables or wardrobe and there was no dressing table. The breakfast room was spartan and the breakfast was limited with only apples and a few oranges instead of the range of fruit shown on the website and the hotel tv channel. One morning there were no bowls available for cereal. The TV only worked occasionally and the air con control was almost impossible to operate as the dial was missing. The toiletry tray in the shower was nearly falling off and there was a very limited selection of toiletries. The roof terrace, bar and pool were lovely to come back to after a day’s sightseeing.

This property is a great find. The pool and bar area on the top are a fantastic place to rest and relax. The area around the hotel has some great restaurants and bars. It is less busy that the area around La Rambla. Just a walk around the corner to the Picasso museum. Very reasonable rates

The property was conveniently located in the city center walking distance to shops and dining options. Overall not a bad property but could improve. Our bed felt like we were sleeping on a plywood board, it was extremely uncomfortable, the shower had some mold, there is a shower curtain that was to short and when you take a shower it sticks to you and you get water all over the floor, not sure if its changed in between guest, the other people that were traveling with us had a totally different type of room, it seems that they were rationing towels, the air conditioner in our room never cooled the room, thank fully it wasn’t hot out. When we arrived it appeared there was a flood in the area where the luggage is stored. There was a bucket of very dirty water in the hallway and sump drains which made it difficult to maneuver your luggage,

The hotel was comfortable, and ckean and the staff friendly. There are restaurants and even a money exchange across the street. However, I found the area dirty with trash in the street and large trash bins that had not been emptied.

Had a wonderful stay here! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious, but same thing every morning! Room was clean and spacious, however the bed isn’t attached to anything and slides on the floor! Balcony of our room was removed so we were unable to open the window/door for fresh air, and the knob of our thermostat was broken off so we could not adjust the temperature in our room! Not a huge deal as the temperature outside had dropped slightly when we were there! Overall amazing location and would definitely stay again!

Hotel in nice area with easy walk to port or centre. Helpful friendly reception staff, cute rooftop bar, spacious room which was clean although bath could do with being replaced or resurfaced as a bit old.

Great neighborhood. Super convenient and walkable to everything from food, to the beach to meuseums and other sights. The room itself was fine with a Comfortable bed. The balcony was great for relaxing and people watching. The bathrooms are in serious need of updating, but the showers were hot and had good pressure. Staff were casual and helpful. A bit over priced.

Good place if you just want somewhere to sleep and shower. Closeby to transport and lots of shops for food etc. The facilities were clean but there was a slight smell in the bathroom, as well as the staff forgetting to provide an extra towel. Overall it’s a good place to stay if you’re looking to travel around Barcelona.

Can’t beat the location. You are in the middle of everything ( food,shopping ) walkable distance to museums, beach etc. $300 plus dollars in a room dark with terrible lighting and bed. Staff seems to be bothered every time you have a request. Tv wasn’t working our first night said they will send someone up as we were going out for dinner. No one showed up and told we will have to wait until the next day. I ended up fixing the tv. No apologies, didn’t offer another room. Nothing. The only thing going for this hotel is their location.

Fantastic.
Fantastic location in the heart of the gothic district. Very conventient for subway and bus links, and the beach was a 20 minute walk. Rooms were clean and comfortable and we ended up with a balcony which was unexpected. Rooftop pool great for a dip to cool down and was completely empty every morning of my stay here.
