Great location right in the centre of the Gothic District. Staff was excellent, offering us suggestions for transportation, tours and restaurants. They were super friendly. The rooms were small, but typical for Europe.

Amazing location in the Gothic Quarter. Easy walks to everything we wanted to see and close to areas where you can find new spots. Even about a 20 min walk to the beach and pier. Staff was awesome. We arrived early and were able to get us a room right away. They had amazing recommendations for all our dining needs. Very safe and busy area. Walking around late at night you don’t feel on edge at all. Scenery was beautiful

Although much construction in the plaza in front, very centralized, plenty of shops and restaurants. It was very comfortable and clean. Good sized room and staff was very helpful and Pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel Suizo is ideally located in Barcelona - in the heart of the old city and very close to a Metro stop. But the biggest asset is the front desk staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful!!

The Hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were both helpful and friendly. The room was a reasonable size and very comfortable. The only downside was that it was not as quiet as were led to believe.

The room smells horrible. They first put me in a room that didn’t have a window. It was dark dreary then they put me another room. It smelt like somebody died in it and they wouldn’t let me get out of my reservation. I called Expedia twice they called the hotel and nothing I’m extremely disappointed.

Quiet boutique hotel in bustling gothic quarter
Quiet, small boutique hotel in the bustling gothic quarter. Room was beautifully decorated in neutral tones which made it a very calm atmosphere. Comfortable bed, amazing shower. Although the sim urea ding area is bustling and noisy into the night, when the windows were closed you could hardly hear a sound. Walking distance to everywhere, with metro right in front of hotel also. Only negatives were: no seating on balcony, which was lovely to be out on to see the world go by; the tv didn't work very well and when it did only one English speaking channel (BBC News); no kettle/hot drinks in room (as in most other hotels).

I enjoyed my time in Barcelona in the property, everyone in the front desk were beyond helpful and nice to me! The only thing bad thing I have to say is that my room had a weird smell. (Like old wet wood) Other than that nothing else bad to say about the hotel!

The location of this property was perfect. The Metro is literally outside your front door, The Rampla is only a stones throw away also. Everything is central and walkable to main points of interest. The only let down was the buffet breakfast, not enough variety and the food did not seem fresh at all. The deserts/sweets on the 3 days we had the buffet tasted stale and so did the bread. They were def not freshly made almost tasted supermarket like. For the cost I would have been happier eating elsewhere with freshly made food. The Staff were polite, and helpful. The rooms were neat and tidy, it does get noisy at night but we didn’t mind the noise as we were that tired everyday after long days sightseeing, The Bathroom does have some wear and tear in the room we stayed in. If it wasn’t for the breakfast I would have rated my stay a 5/5.
