Really nice friendly hotel

Pros: The staff so friendly and a great sense of humour whilst attending to your needs.
Location: Short walk into a small town with a great choice of tapas bars and restaurants. Choice of walks along the extensive beach area or around the port.
This is a good hotel made better by the staff. They all speak several languages and are helpful and have a great sense of humour. Check in was easy and if need be car parking is available all be it limited. Our room was on the fourth floor and the view across the old town was lovely. Breakfast is a buffet with a great variety of food choices. We had several nights out in the town but also ate in the hotel off an evening and the menu was so much choice on each course that we were able to have different things each night. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Modern hotel within town area of Mataro

Pros: Modern hotel with great staff. Good size and handy location.
Location: Great beach, old town centre with restaurants and shops
A modern and excellent hotel based close to the main town centre of Mataro. Easy walk to the beach or into the main town area for restaurants or shops. All the staff were friendly and spoke English so saved any embarrassment with my Spanish. Car parking was available underneath the hotel. The room we had was on second floor and faced the main street. It was comfortable and overall a good size. Room was cleaned daily to a good standard. The only minor issue was if the window was open of an evening then you got the occasional smell of smoke from the smokers standing around the doorway below. The breakfast was a buffet and you had a good choice of cereals, fresh fruit, bread, hams and cheeses along with cooked eggs and sausages. In the evenings you had the choice of a set menu or tapas. We choose the set menu and the food was plentiful and good at a very reasonable cost. Really enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation about going back.

Great stay

Well worth the price, comfortable and quiet stay. Staff were friendly and it felt great coming back to after a long night out. Well recommended.
