Barcelona Gem with Service Flaws
The location is absolutely outstanding if you are there as a tourist. It is close to everything and easily accessible. The room and other common area facilities were immaculate and very nicely designed. We had booked a deluxe junior suite, which matched the description and pictures exactly. This was all excellent. The problems we experienced were all with the service-we had to call each day late in the afternoon to get housekeeping to come in. That was very curious. Our first morning, we greeted the housekeeping person on our way out and she was coming out of the room next door. Nine hours later, no one had come to clean the room and it was 5:30pm in the afternoon. When I called the front desk they informed me that cleaning hours were 9am to 5pm-well, they had that entire time period open to them but had elected not to come. Each day was like this for housekeeping. There is also an Experience Team, who reached out to us the day before we left home inquiring about preferences for our room set up. That was a nice touch, but we had made the booking months in advance. In any case, we turned the preference request right away, but because of the short lead time, they were unable to translate that into any of preferences we had elected. In the end, they spent more time writing apology notes than actually doing the work. The service at this hotel was extremely poor, which should be easy to remedy. Given the location and the excellent facilities, this could become a great place.

I wasn’t really happy with the room we were given. It was not a cleanliness issue but more an incompatibility thing. The next morning I mentioned it at the desk after breakfast. I was assured the manager would call me as soon as she arrived as ultimately they wanted us to be happy. Alba was wonderful! She understood our concern and showed us another room which worked for us so much better. We were much happier! Besides Alba, we’d like to thank Zak, Manuel and Javi for all they did to help us during our stay and to the young lady who walked outside with us to point us in the direction of the restaurant we couldn’t find, Thank You again. Sorry we didn’t get your name. The hotel staff is wonderful from the breakfast buffet to the rooftop. We had absolutely no complaints. Housekeeping was top notch as well. Great place to stay 👍

The hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel with amazing staff. great location to view the sites. My only comments are the mattress is very firm (I prefer a softer mattress) and the shower is surrounded by glass with no privacy.

Our stay at Ohla was incredible! The room was gorgeous, the bed was very comfortable, the amenities were wonderful and they were so sweet to include a gift for our baby that was traveling with us. The staff was incredibly attentive, the pool was beautiful and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location is perfect, walkable to major highlights in town, along with dining and shopping. We cannot wait to come back and stay at this fantastic hotel again!

Fabulously located and wonderfully decorated with funky modern decor, this hotel is a gem. The staff is attentive and gracious, and service top notch. We enjoyed a delicious meal on the rooftop deck. The breakfast buffet had a generous and delicious selection of options.
