Reviews seem to be a bit extreme scenarios, our stay was for work but really don’t have much to complain about. It’s an average property, staff were nice and it’s in a great location

We stayed in two different rooms as we extended our stay. The first room was nice clean and separated room and couch area which was different not open concept. Mattress and pillows were good in the first room. Room was clean. On the third night stayed on fourth floor in jacuzzi room and had the worst mattress!! The mattress concave in the middle which made for a horrible sleep and a trip to the chiropractor the next morning it was so bad on my back!! The jacuzzi was a nice touch to the room and fun! And stand up shower was good. The breakfast was delicious eggs, bagels, sausage and waffles were all delicious! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the stay there the tv didn’t work as it was stated Roger’s was down which was disappointing as wild of liked tv in the room for our stay. The hotel was decent restaurants and shopping near by there seemed to be some police presence and drug users which was a little concerning but other then that an ok stay. The gym was not in use and was filled with storage so don’t expect to use it if you’re visiting this hotel. Pool was 3 feet and small but not bad for a quick cool down. Overall not bad and would revisit this hotel just would definitely need a room with a good mattress!

Easy access off of Hwy 400. Lots of dining and shopping options that were very walkable. Downside was property is slightly dated and the TV's (2) in our room didn't work. Tv's turned on but signals were all scrambled, we arrived late around 10pm and were not going to have them try and fix it at that hour. Would have been nice to watch for a bit though before bedtime. Also some outlets in the room did not work for electricity. Otherwise no complaints,fairly quiet other than some dude blasting tunes in his car in the parking lot at 2am.

Take your money elsewhere
I accidentally booked a room with the wrong dates and immediately contacted them to fix my mistake. I was given the run around, told to contact hotels.com, and when i did, the representative was told to send an email request to the hotel that whould "get back to ASAP". The hotel never replyed to the email, never contacted me about changing the dates, and effectively just stole my money. Im stuck in the barrie area for over a year for training and will be looking to get a weekend or two a month away to relax, but they arent the only hotel in barrie with jetted tubs and since the hotel didnt see fit to rectify the situation, i will be bringing my business elsewhere

The Television was not working and there was an issue with the internet. Would of expected some kind of rebate due to the lack of these services. In addition all night, late into the night and in the morning who ever was upstairs sounded like a horse constantly.

No television service, and no help with a solution
Although the room and location were good, we were disappointed that the television services in the room did not work. Our concern was brought to the front desk, and we were told there was nothing that could be done, it was a cable provider issue, however when confirming with the cable company online there were no issues reported for our location. On further discussion with the front desk, the employee stated there was nothing they could do as ‘[she] just works the front desk’; we felt her customer service was lacking and she was rather on the rude side.

The room was great. I’ve stayed here many times. The only drawback was the cable was out for the four days I was there. Very inconvenient when I was travelling by myself and had no tv in the evening. I felt the hotel should have offered some sort of discount for this problem. I would appreciate hearing back if there is any sort of credit to be given.
