The town of Bristol which holds the annual and oldest July 4th parade in the country is just 7 miles away. Newport, RI is just 18-20 miles away (30-40 mins). Exploring the Newport mansions is a great way to experience what life was like during the Gilded age.
Different restaurants and seafood places to eat abound. During the summer, lobster roll is the best. Depending on the season, we do have our favorites. There is a restaurant list and local magazines with recommendations that are found next to the welcome book when you checked in.
